It's great fun when you realize all control is in the hips.
Wherever you bring your hips, that's where the whole rest of you goes.
If it gets dangerous, pull your hips back.

Double post.

First genuine insomnia post here.

I feel deeply disturbed by the fact that I'm back home before midnight, I'm not drunk and I don't feel any better then when I left.
This is not how going out is supposed to work.
No drinking and no women – what's the point, then?
I seriously miss my days as what we in portuguese call a "crazy sh*t". Those were both the happiest and the saddest days of my life.

How many people have written about not being able to get the past back?
Yesterday laughs, tomorrow cries.
Screw all that, just because it's true.

I want to have everything at my hands again.
Free opportunities and when not, free pass to opportunity creating.
I miss the people, the places, the feelings.
Everything I've thrown away without even thinking.

I threw all I had away.
And it all comes back to haunt, when I can't sleep after a completely failed attempt at fun.
Oh god, fun. Don't even talk to me about fun.

Look, the best thing to do at times like these is sleep. After a good night's sleep you forget everything.

But hey. If I can't create a real proper situation with the real proper people, I can at least drink with you guys.

I suggest whiskey. Or vodka, whatever floats your boat. It just has to be pure. No pansy mixed stuff.

Hope the stars are out. So I can toast to her and forget about the next day's hangover.

My past that I long for hadn't even started when I was your age!

Just one night can make a gigantic difference for someone.
I started my life at 15.
There's been a lot of one nights since then...

I'm buzzin so I am going to tell you all what I think of you...

I care a little about you and that is it.

What did you expect. When was the last time we had a beer together.

I might hate women. Not really.

Man I'm pissed.

END COMMUNICATION.

EDIT: P.S. Are there any women on this board? Where are Kittykicker, Sumisem, Chrisy, that one dude pretending to be a teenage chick?

Life. You know I love it.

Who is sleeping alone tonight? And if you are 17 or youger, I ain't talking to you. Read a different topic. When you are 36, you'll understand what it is all about.

I mean WHAT IT IS FREAKIN ALL ABOUT! and yes to the Gnasher, I'm buzzin so shut the hell up.

The problem is not the women. It is the city.

See, the women try to pretend they are all cool and hip and no matter how much anime they watch, they still want you to act like a FREAKIN Jane Austin character. It is all Bull SPIT. So you know what, let them find their pleasure in the solace of their own DVD watching activity and at least you as a guy can know that you are not alone in you're frustration.

WHAT ARE YOU KIDS STILL DOING HERE!!! I told you this was adults only!

By the way, you know I was joking when I said that to you, right? :D

Sorry if it didn't come across that way but it was completely a joke because you seem to be the only one who listens to my rants, which I appreciate.

It's not like I'm going to shut the hell up, anyway. =P

Uh, what's a Jane Austin character like? Aren't her books supposed to be 'feminist' or somesuch?

In the previous posts, I thought you were joking but I replied just in case you weren't.

I actually don't know much about Jane Austin but that sounds right. I think her female characters are feministic but caught up in a conservative traditional world so they are dealing with those kind of problems. But ironically (?) if that is the case, what I mean is that the average modern women is not as progressive as I would prefer because they are still very traditional(and conservative) in their romantic belief in a single soulmate, so the Jane Austin fan is the woman who STILL wants a guy to sweep her off her feet but he is of such character that he accepts her free spirit. My comment was an attack that many women who are Jane Austin fans (or other modern 'progressive' romantics) are not really all that free spirited because instead of safely and securely fantasizing about an ideal man via their DVDs and books, they can actually go out there be free with themselves and each other and find and embrace real men.

In my experience, they do both.

They're pretty much like us men, women see men around and they go 'dreamy! perfect! I wanna have your babies!' but in the end of the day they'll settle for the real deal because if they go around chasing waterfalls they won't even get the rivers and the lakes that they're used to.

Well, I do agree with that. My concern moreso is about their resistance and sometime unwillingess as a so called 'free' spirit to let go of the need to find security in men. Even when in the end as you have said, they settle away from their ideal, they still are doing so to find more 'realistic' security, not freedom. I think it is easy for a women to think of herself as a free spirit from the safe confines of fiction and never really act freely in real society.

It is easy for everyone to think of themselves as anything in the safe confines of fiction, really, but you're right. =]

Very few people have the courage it takes to not just look crazy but to be crazy.

Bo, you're gonna like this.

Last night was so tough that I slept and what I woke up like today was buzzing.

I've done that before. That's when you know you had too much to drink. It is almost embarassing because you think wow, I just wanted to be buzzed BEFORE going to bed but I was so careless I put enough into my system to be buzzed after I wake up (i.e. "what did I drink?" or "when did that happen?"). Did you have a hangover too?

Light one. No headache, no vomiting – but some dizziness, screwed-up mouth, absurdly annoying stomach and general feeling of unpleasantness.

Got pretty sick before sleeping, though. Had to spend I think 1 hour between sitting down and going to the bathroom when things started to spin too wickedly. But I honestly think that was triggered by psychological and not just alcohol.

Tonight it ends.

Everything. The last unfinished business I have with my life, it gets solved this very night.

I know I've said this before, but now it's for real.

Don't wish me good luck. Luck is for the weak.

Tonight it ends, and I'll be damned if it doesn't.

^Pretty cool.

I woke up today the way you did the other day. Too many beers last night.

I realized that it isn't so much that I want people to stay out all night and drink, I just want them to stay out all night.

Most people need an excuse to stay out all night.

^ True.

It ended.
In the worst possible imaginable way, but it f*cking ended last night. I'm starting to fear hope as a feeling because every time I feel it, things go terrible.

I'm sad. But then again, I'm an unhappy man. Got a shattered heart and a limp soul, you understand those metaphors. Fate and Chaos, the two brothers, can be really nice people to their friends, but they hate me.

I've been taken down far too many times, and now I am taken down again. With force.
I think what I want the most is to bite off one of Fate's earlobes. No matter how many times it defeats me.

Okay thanks, now I can go back to pretending the world is a wonderful place and good feelings are worth anything.
