Gundam Wing has the same charm as Yoshihiro Togashi's stuff (Yu Yu, Hunter x Hunter, LevelE), I believe.

That is, the author has no standards at all to what he does to the plot – so you have twists that are truly magnificent because they follow no established order.
Come on, the things that happened to the poor Gundam Wing protagonists were incredible. They went their separate ways, forged new alliances, betrayed themselves, joined up again – you never knew what would come.

Coming from the guy who will still watch sailor moon (aka the anime version of power rangers)...

Anyway, I actually finished Claymore for the first time a few months ago... and that was seriously good. Kajak tried to get me to watch it like a year ago, but for some reason I just didn't feel like it.

@ Sumi - Full Metal is one of my favorites. It absolutely killed me when I heard that Cartoon Network started to show it. I was all like, "Nuuuuu, it's going to get lumped in with the rest of the want to be anime's that despirate people watch because they don't think they can get it anywhere else!" Evangelion is also a good one... at least the first half of the series. Volume 5 is my favorite.

Hey, you don't say anything about Power Rangers, okay?
PR was awesome. Sailor Moon sucked ass.

I happen to think that anyone who doesn't cry, or at least tear up, at Air, is lying to themselves. Grave of the Fire Flies too.

Anyways, I finished Claymore a while back after very slowly acting on someone's recommendation (Chrssy's I think).

I finished Amatsuki recently and it was amusing enough. Rewatched Serial Experiments Lain, cause I felt like watching something trippy.

Currently trying to finish off Samurai Deeper Kyo. Never gotten to see the last 5 episodes and I just borrowed it from a friend, so trying to actually finish it this time.

Planning on going back to an old favorite after that (cause now I'm in a samurai mood) and watching Samurai 7. Which I highly recommend to anyone who likes that genre.

Samurai 7? Is that related to Kurosawa's Seven Samurais?

I rate the animes I watch on a 1-10 scale. I'm extremely picky with my 10s, because that means that I had to enjoy the anime from beginning to end, including the ending. A ending that pisses me off or is ass makes me drop a series 1 point.

Out of a list of more than 200.

10s:
Black Lagoon (S1-S2)
Claymore
Code Geass (S1-S2)
Juuni Kokki (Twelve Kingdoms)
Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit
One Piece (ongoing)
Outlaw Star
Tenchi in Love: Tenchi the Movie 1
Tenchi Universe

As far as manga, I read a lot but don't grade it, really. Here's what I'm addicted to right now:

One Piece
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi
Naruto
Freezing
Fairy Tail

Just finished season three of dragonball Z. All told, 91 episodes, at around 21 minutes per episode, means 33 hours of viewing. I'm a little burnt out, to say the least. And I still haven't watched the 3 movies yet.

Now I move on to Witch Hunter Robin.

FairyTail is very good. A lot better than I thought it would be considering the maker's other works.

I love One Piece, but I have stopped watching the anime, since my computer doesn't seem to want to play them. And the filler sucks.

Bleach has gotten kinda boring.

I really like this one manga called "Gimmick!" It is like the movies series, FX but in anime.

And I do love "The Kindaichi Case Files" and "Case Closed" aka "Dective Conan".

And Negima (manga) is also one I really like reading.
