Probably nothing to get excited about, actually. Unless you've never played Jester's Hunt, aren't able to play it, and wish you could see it. Then you should be interested. What is it? The fun part is, the 3.5-hour video clip is 3.9Gigs of data, and I have only 2 Gigs of RAM on my machine. I can't edit that directly, or else trying to jump ahead in the video results in some glitch that'd be hard to explain. I'm hoping that splitting it into a lot of clips in Windows Movie Maker will allow me to more easily edit the video without me having to re-watch it over and over again.

Interesting detail, though. Would seem that Game Bridge has a limit on how much continuous video it can record, so I've got the video split already a bit more than 3 hours in. I'm hoping that no video was lost in the split. This'll be a learning experience, though. Gotta make sure to stop-record new videos instead of recording over 3 hours straight.

If you need help with timing, there are stopwatch type programs littered around the net. I use them while recording LPs.

And only 2 gigs free? Holy crap, you need an external or something. Glad to hear you are already this far into the project, I hadn't though you've started yet.

They make external RAM? Or did I just not edit and clarify in my post soon enough?

Anyway, yeah, timing will be a pain at first. I had to get up to get a drink several times, and at first I paused the audio recording but not the video, so it'll be a pain getting that in sync at first. I wised up halfway through and just left it continuously recording on both ends when I needed a drink break.

Well, in about 8 minutes, I'll know if separating the video automatically into smaller clips fixes my troubles with trying to jump ahead in the video.

Yeah, I think the way it was worded made me think you had only 2 gigs of disc space. I wish you luck with your testing.

First off, those descriptions were really funny. Also the way 9 ended was just great. Also, remember when you were talking about the spring boots and the luigi walking while jumping. There's actually a way around that. I did it in the original SoE many years ago. If in the event before you move party, you go in and inflict the paralysis status effect, then he would have the same effect of "don't step" if the sprite were an event and not the party. Just cure the status after the move is finish. Not that you'd go back and change that after so much time... but for future reference.

I also giggled at the reference to your sig... which btw, I've been keeping track of. It seems those game really give you ample oppertunities to make many of them.

Also, I admit that when I played JH, I didn't 100% complete it, so it was cool seeing the stuff that I didn't originally see my first time around. I was also like, Oh no! only 299? It'll take forever to find that last one... glad you proved me wrong. And I really laughted at the end of 21, yay FFVI music.

Also, I think you do well at LPing. If you ever feel to LP again, you should go with it. I also think it would be awesome if more people LP'ed other RPG Maker games. I'll definately do that for mine eventually. Anyway. Good job, Dray.

I may do another LP down the line. But what would I choose? All the games I know enough about to properly make an LP have already been done. Some more than once.

I don't think it really matters if there are games already LP'd or not. It'll be a different commentary... and that's half of the experience when someone watches an LP.
