After almost a year of on and off playing Gitaroo-Man, I finally beat Mojo King Bee on Master difficulty. Easily the toughest stage so far in the game, and I barely had any health left as I jammed the fnal notes.

I also recorded my winning run and stuck it on Youtube.

Congrats. I bet that wasn't very easy.

Gaming for me has pretty much slowed to a crawl. I'm playing Final Fantasy 3 DS and nothing else. As mentioned elsewhere, my TV is being "repaired" (for a month now), so all I have is a PS 2 and my hand helds. I am doing work again in RM1, but tehcnically that not playing a game. So yeah FF3DS soon to be followed by FF4DS.

I've beaten No More Heroes. What an enjoyable game. I was always looking forward to seeing the next ranked fight.

The only thing I thought took too long was earning money for the next one. You drive through a sandbox city, but you can't interact much with it. You can't take your sword out and kill anyone. It's really sort of pointless.

However, it wasn't that bad. I'd give the game 7.5 out of 10. I don't regret playing it.

Oh, and now I'm back to Umbrella Chronicles. I've upgraded all the weapons and now I'm back to trying to S-Rank all stages. Shouldn't be as hard as I think it could.

i like the game so far but there is plenty of room for improvement and a bunch of stuff that still sucks.

This may sound odd, but it's really rare for me to play console games.

Even rarer to play Squeenix games, because I hate Squeenix.

I bought FF12 on impulse the other day, for like 12 bucks, and I now feel even more justified in my hatred of Squeenix.

NMH is a f*cking masterpiece in my opinion. The money-getting was worth it all the while. What's surprising is that the game BOMBED in Japan heartily on launch. It is one of the best 3rd party uses of the Wii-mote to date. In a word.... MOEEEEEE.

As for myself, I just started Odin Sphere, and I played some Parappa the Rapper 2 today on magenta hat level... also World of Warcraft, but what's new. Mario Kart Wii is still impossible to find.

Good luck with that. If you play past the 4th story, you have great patience.

Playing Fable: The Lost Chapters for the original XBOX and loving it WAY more than I thought I would!

EDIT: Finished it. I think that this game was very well executed and maybe even underrated. I can't wait for Fable 2.

If no one's noticed yet, I've beaten Final Fantasy III for DS. I don't quite remembering it being THAT hard. I do remember one thing though, that I hated. For the last like 2 hours of the game, there are no save points. And there are some hella hard boss fights before you even reach the final boss.

That is, unless you are around level 60... and even then, the final boss doesn't go down easy. In fact, when I got to the final dungeon... I was level 46. So I grinded my way to 60. Took a long time.

Also, I tried to beat the boss at 46. Got to like the 5th boss (which was right before the final boss) and lost. Really kind of made me want to not pick it up and try again for a while. Definately one of the harder RPGs I've played as of late.

Haven't been a gamer in like years upon years.
Started playing Okami on someone's Wii.
I haven't played Twilight Princess or FF 12, but those are two series I always tried to follow, despite not owning a system since Super Nintendo.

Okami reminds me alot of Zelda. Almost excessively. I tried listing all of the similarities while playing for when I was making this post, but I realized I could be biased.
Zelda was an incredibly influential series, I hear, and so alot of the similiarities are probably just video game staples at this point.
It's still very original, so far as I can tell, and it's pretty good.

I also started Halo 3. Which is nifty, I suppose.
I played the first one sparsely at someone's behest, and this one is all more cheezed up in the fashion of 80s action movies.
Less interesting in anything beyond how it's a pretty nifty way to kill aliens, still.

Whelp, I never knew someone else liked Gitaroo Man! I wish I had my copy still.

Right now, I was working on Persona 3, but I had to return it to the rental store. Other than that, I've just been playing Phantasy Star Universe again. I'm thinking of giving up WoW entirely for it during the school year because of having 16 credits and two clubs to deal with.

T'isn't bad really.

I beat FFIV DS.
Zeromus was a cake walk compared to the walk to his battle. I was only in trouble once, and that was when he used big bang twice in a row before I could heal with rosa after the first one. Luckily Kain was using Jump at the time so he didn't get hit. The ending was great, even though it's pretty much the same as all the other versions.
Trying to beat the Sanbone Trio and not having much luck beating the stage. You have to dodge an incredible amout of buttons before you can even refill your health, and only 4 or so misses and you have to restart. Tough stuff. And Mojo King Bee still kicks my ass even after I've beaten him.

Also been playing a Difficult playthrough of Fire Emblem: PoR. The first time I played through the game I didn't like it much, but after playing Radiant Dawn and seeing how much crappier the story was, I went back to my Cube for some better tactical action. And the fact RD is a hard little b*tch on Normal.

I should be playing through Persona 3 so I can buy the FES version, then P4.

So, since I didn't want to read anything the other day, I grabbed my GBA (it's the old one, not even SP) and turned it on.

I tried, for like the third time, to get into Link to the Past.

Guess what? This time the game is being fun! I'm climbing Death Mountain right now, and I'm sure those boulders will give me a headache.

Also on GBA, started Aria of Sorrow, Hard Mode, from scratch, ignoring my New Game +. Planning to get 100% souls. Hard Mode is pretty nifty.

And that's it.

I'm glad to hear that. Link to the Past is a great game.

Right now I'm only playing FF4 DS. I'm in the sealed cave... and managed to pick up Leviathan beforehand.

In other gaming news, I'll be doing my own little LP starting wtihin a week or so. The thread will be in the Video Game forums. Hopefully it'll turn out well.

Oh, really? That's great.

If you want to be an LP superstar and have 10 dollars to spend, you can always try registering on the SA forums. It's the home of LP, and the audience there is brutal when the LP is bad, but great when the LP is good.

I'm not sure how bruital it is when LP's for such great games like Blackthorne are in the archive... I couldn't watch that LP simply because of how annoying that guy was.

In fact, here:

http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid= ... 2460857370

Test yourself on how long you can put up with it.

I've kinda started playing Valkyrie Profile. I'm on Chapter 0 right now, though. It's an interesting game, yet I know little about it.

The story is good so far, though.
