If I made a company, wherein the only way to advance was to have sex with me, and I made this clear before the hiring process, is it legal?

Would it be wrong of me to do?
Should I be forced to base this on work ethic only?
If ruled against, would it be right to say that I could not do this?

It'd be sexist if you didn't include males, and you'd get f*cked by equal rights activists. In the bad way.

It would be a female-hire only company. The ability to hire one sex only is legal, mind you, for companies under a certain amount of people.

Let's just say 5 for the argument.

You can't actually do that. It's kind of.. illegal.

Unfair hiring practices and all. It happens, yes, but if some male were to apply and you were to deny him, he could get you and your company in sh*t. The number of people in your company doesn't matter - if you openly only hire women, and deny a man regardless of number of employees, you're done.

It's more like uni-gender companys are permissable until a certain point, and only if you're not getting applicants that represent the other sex. The same is true for race.

I don't know about the legality aspect as there are things like anti-discrimination policies that would seem to prohibit this legally.

When you ask if it be 'wrong', what standard are you referring to:

wrong in the eyes of the law?
wrong in the eyes of tradtional societal norms?
wrong in the eyes of a non-traditional male perspective?
wrong in the eyes of the God?
wrong in the eyes of your personal value system?

Nothing is 'wrong' unless someone decides it is or that they will function with others as though it is for some communal sake of the population in some particular domain.

So what do you mean when you say, "wrong"? This also applies similarly for when you say, "right".

Yes, there are many different ways to view this "wrong". Why not answer them all?

And why have I asked this topic? It was simply one floating in my head, and I said "huh, that sounds interesting."

Let's change it up a bit.

What if the only way to advance was by either having sex with me OR someone else of my choosing? Is that legal? Moral? Right? Wrong?

I'm not sure what the law of this country are regarding what you specifically say so I can't answer that question. It seems like it would be illegal based on some type of inappropriate discrimination as the laws of this country are not libertarian. In other words not every private action is considered to be legal.

Ethically or morally that all depends on who you ask. To me I see nothing wrong with you having that company nor others voluntarily working for you regarding the actions in and of themselves per se, but if every company is allowed to have no restrictions on their hiring or promotion practice, it seems that minority populations (not just ethnic, but religious, gender, orientation, etc.) may be heavily discriminated against and I do see something wrong with this. I'm not saying it has to be the other way, I'm just saying that I see where a purely libertarian stance could lead to ethical negatives that I myself would not prefer.

EDIT: So the imposed restrictions all depend on where you draw the line. There seems to be more of traditional consensus that it would be worse for the line to be drawn allowing what you are talking about than it would be to prevent you from having this liberty in hiring and promotion practice. But the line is subjective.

I can see it now... You go to Hooters, and who else comes to serve you but a dasy duke wearing... man. What fun.

yea youd be a pimp which would get you some jail time depending on where you operate. if this type of business was possible then you see it operating openly somewhere out there. since it has not then we can reasonably deduct that it is very likely to be illegal.

i thin the kicker is that they get paid. exploitation laws have a fine line i guess.

someone find a law site and see what it says, now im curious to see how the law handles this.
