Civilization: Revolutions

I played the demo and I like that its simple again. The lack of a keyboard usually sucks for the genre but they do a good job avoiding that stereotype.

I plan on picking this up for sure.

I've always wanted to play a Civilization game, but never had a chance to play one. If it is indeed coming to Wii, I think I'll grab it.

I also played the demo and was instanly hooked. It would be my first Civilization game.

The Wii version has been announced but it is supposedly on hold. I didn't read the article that stated the hold so it might not be true. If it is on hold it probably just has to do with the controls and its better to delay and be fun later than to be out and suck early.

I started on Civ II on the old PS1. Slow as hell, full of loading but it was easily my most played game for the system. Truth.

I might pick up the wii version, if it becomes released. My first civ was civ. II for the PC. Fun as hell.

well forget about Wii. To quote the official sites forum faq:

Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS.

3. Is Civilization Revolution coming out for the PC?
No. Civilization Revolution was created from the ground up to be a console experience.

4. Will there be online gameplay?
Yes! We are planning online matches for Civilization Revolution on all three platforms.

So there you go. I will be getting this game this month for sure.

Hmmm.. I was planning on getting the DS version, but I'll wait for the Wii one. (I also forgot my DS Was stolen months ago...)

I can't wait, I'm gonna grab a copy today after work. Still don't know what system to chance though, XBOX 360 or PS3 ???? My 360 is pretty worn out, but I want to save most of my PS3's life for FFXIII..... Ugh, I don't know!
