i only change my avatar and title for special events like holidays or if im feeling particularly happy about something. i usually revert back to the red 13 pic after a few days. over at the pavi i choose a new red 13 since i couldnt be bothered to find the old one and felt like a temporary change.

For the record, I wasn't even aware of there being a "change your avatar" trend, and for all I know, I might've been the one to start it. My new (and temporary!) avatar commemorates the upcoming release of Final Fantasy IV DS. It's a clip from the game's opening cinematics, of Palom and Porom, my two favorite characters from the game. Also, FF4 is tied for my favorite FF game, so why not?

Changed mine (I think this is the 4th time since 2006) because Chrono Trigger is of more awesome than Magic Knights Rayearth... which is where Lantis originates from. Besides, it's really to the point that I'm more use to the name in reference to myself than to that anime anyway. So I grabbed me a pretty awesome image of the silent hero from CT. And also for the same reason as Fay.
