I have [spoiler]mixed[/spoiler] feelings.

Heh, we all knew the series wouldn't end without tying all the unconnected dots to Megaman X, Zero, and all the other fancy new ones that I don't know anymore.

Let's just hope (and hoe some more) that it doesn't degenerate like Sonic did.

Actually, I'm really excited about it all. I mean I know why Ix is all iffy about it... and it's because, and I quote, "If not done right, it'll just seem like a romhack."

Which is understandable. But I still think of it as like a missing link. A title made for nintendo that we've all missed. Besides, I like the classic Megamen (Megamans?).

So what me and SK have planned, is grab the anniversary collection of megaman (mm1-8) and play through that before we play 9... whithin the same weekend. It'll be great.

... Actually, the idea of a robot master's name ending in "Woman" rather than "Man" seems a little non-traditional to me; the only other female antagonist I can think of out of the entire MegaMan or MegaMan X series is Berkana.


But I agree with The Gnasher. I, too, have a slight fear of a new MegaMan title for the original series after all of this time being a bad idea. Well, we'll see, I guess. .... Maybe I should have more faith. After all, it's not like Uwe Boll is trying to produce a live-action film after MegaMan or anything.

There were plent of females. Think of Megaman Legends 1 and 2 and Megaman Zero 1 through 3. Even Megaman Battle network 1 through 4 (and the few that were colors instead of numbers like pokemon) had women. Though in the ORIGINAL series... Roll was pretty much it. So I can understand the awkwardness here.

Anyway, I have complete faith in that this will be a good game... you'll see.

A bit of a teaser, really. It's very short, and very covered by self-advertisement.

Good find there... hearing those classic sounds and 8-bit music (of which was unfimiliar to me, squee) just makes me all that more excited to play.

Doesn't seem too bad. Hope there's some really catchy themes in it.

I just want to point out how freaking fanboy that statment is. It's the same as saying "you shouldn't be able to play this game unless you own a wii." When I heard that DMC4 was going to be on Xbox 360, I was like "Score, a larger DMC fanbase." Ah well, he's a retard.

I'm really digging the video though.

Even if the only next gen console I have is a Wii, I'm happy for Ps3 and 360 owners.
The only Mega Man games I've played are the first 2 (maybe 3) Mega Man X games, but I'm feeling attracted to MM9.. (In a non sexual way of course)
