Ignorance mixed with a an attitude of "yeah, I know I'm right", is a sure-fire way to annoy me.

People who have a need to talk all the time. I have a co-worker who just can't shut the f up. Especially when I'm trying to concentrate on something else.

Alienated people who have no right to be ignorant because they have all the opportunities to dis-alienate themselves.
Like people who have tons of newspapers at home and don't know who Sarkosy is.

Tomatoes, gas (like in Coke), and olives.

And I think that's pretty much it.

When people are asked what kind of music they listen to and they say "everything" but they actually don't.

Grossly fat women that think they're sexy and wear small clothes. (annoying AND disgusting)

Most asians that I see at school.

Presidential campaigns.

Needy, clingy women.

Guys that feel the need to have sex with every woman he sees.

When people expect you to follow their traditions or conventions (without requesting your compliance) as though they are entitiled.

In other words, if ignorant people, or unattractive people annoy someone, I empathize.

But if they think there SHOULDN'T BE ignorant or unattractive people because they seem to think the world should be as they want, I find that particular level of selfishness to be annoying, but I don't think I am entitled to say that those people shouldn't think the way they do.

I also find it annoying anyone who doesn't believe that morality, aesthetics, and anything held sacred, is ultimately relative to the individual and not necessarily universal.

People who complain about people who don't know who Sarkozy is but don't pay attention and misspell his name and end up looking like a huge ass.

dumbing down the news.

sometimes specific things 'people' do annoy me, but because there are two sides to every coin I personally find that taking a stand on one pattern of behaviours; say those behaviours (apathic, disinterested, even scornful, whatever) that underlie ignorance, can be hard. Can be hard, that is, if you accept that you can understand why people act ignorantly. It might work differently for you.

of course if you can't identify you are yourself taking a stand in ignorance. such is not a crime, ofc.

nonetheless, i sometimes get annoyed by things people do while understanding why one might do such things. i doubt i'm alone in that.

ignorantly doesn't feel like it should be a word. It feels wrong somehow. >.<

I get annoyed every time I hear a political pundit or a politician change the flow of what they are addressing and say, "Look."

As in, "...we need to address this. Look. The real problem is that..."

This indicates at least one of two things to me.

One potential thing is that they are trying to change the subject either because it makes them look unfavorable and they want to spin it.

The second potential thing is that they are trying to refocus the issue on a more central point that they believe in, but if they are on a show where they have time to do it then they can take their time, properly answer the question and then refocus that there is something more important that should be asked.

If they are on a talking points show where they are only given a minute or two to talk, then I think that by being willing to do the show, they should actually answer the questions asked them. If they feel it is unfair because there is not enough time to refocus, then they shouldn't do the show.

Too often in this case, they go on for coverage to get known and spout their platforms so they don't really care about the questions or they insist on getting some kind of equal coverage time to address, refocus, or spin their platform while also answering the questions asked them. This insistance, I would argue, is generally accepted as fair even by the average viewer, but it is really akin to diva celebrity or sports star requirements.

Someone who has confidence in their positions doesn't have to worry about "protecting" their image or the image of those they favor. All they need to do is address the questions presented to them. People who understand will understand.

But they are politically trying to win over those who don't really agree by using the methods addressed above just to get votes for themselves, or the people or parties they favor.

Beware the political pundit or politician that uses, "Look."!

Having seen almost every single employee at my job get laid off.
Being a month late on paying my rent.
Watching as me and anyone who is left at my job get a 20% pay cut.
Should of got paid today, but they MIGHT pay us next week at some time?
Having to worry about my job going out of business.

Oh yeah, and what Bonanza said, "...This Bailout Bill."

*Sigh*

Not just presidential campaigns, but all political campaigns. Way too much mudslinging. I know more about why I shouldn't vote for his competition than why I should vote for him.

Walls of text. They tend to immediately make me want to look away and go do something else.

My poor memory and my short attention span. Not a good combination, let me tell you. And while we're at it, let's add my laziness and my lack of motivation.

Every time I go into an IRC chatroom and half the people in the room aren't actually there. I once went into a room with 20 people listed, and maybe one person was there to greet me and chat.

Four seasons of Deal or No Deal without anybody winning the million. Oh, wait, somebody did win it this season. Well, whatever. I'm still done with the show.

Wheel of Fortune has joined the million-dollar giveaways. And they made it just as unlikely to win the million in that show as in Deal or No Deal. In order to win the million in that show, you have to land on the single notch with the million-dollar prize and guess the correct letter. Plus you have to win that round to keep it. Plus you have to be in 1st place at the end of the game. Plus, if you hit Bankrupt at any time after gaining it, no matter which round it is, you lose it. Then if you're lucky enough to bring it to the bonus round, you have to get lucky enough to hit the correct wedge on the bonus round spin (it replaces the hard-to-get $100,000 wedge), AND you have to win the bonus round.

Yes, that commercial was actually aired that way. And just to drive home how annoying it can be to see that commercial every day:
