I was watching a Tyra episode in which she was trying to address black women who are having a hard time finding a good man.

She mentioned a stat that in 70% of interracial relationships (or was it marriages specifically?) that the man is black, suggesting that many non-black men are not seeking to have relationships with black women.

I want to ask any of you out there if you have significant contact with BOTH black girls and white girls and if so do you find any significant trends, good or bad, with respect to one race that doesn't seem to exist in the other?

I rarely date black girls since most of the ones especially around here have personality issues that makes it difficult for me to care or pay attention to them. Sometimes its a bad attitude, stingy, selfish and rude not to say that white girls don't do that either but its more common with black girls in some areas. Interracial sex/dating/relationship is good as well. Some of us black men prefer white girls besides the attitude. But my preferences go from light brown to white. Thats asians, mexicans, mixed, light brown black girls(some) and white girls. Although my preference has to match to some of the other assets, no flatties.

There are white girls in the ghetto, some of them have the asses some of them don't. Although it doesn't matter, snow white loves chocolate.

Thirdy, let's get to the point.

Westernized women are the worst women on the planet. Of this group, there are subsets that are divided up by culture. In such, black women are the worst of the worst women on earth.

They are ignorant, yet are loud when voicing their opinions. They are arrogant, combative, generally obese, drama-loving queens. They choose the worst of black men to copulate with, then question where good black men are going (though this is true of all groups of westernized women). They also add traditional shaming language ("You ain't no real niggra", "You wannabe white mothafugga", "Black men ain't nothing but dogs", etc) to the mix.

Most decent black men, upon seeing this, are definitely going to go for alternatives.

Why white girls?

For many black men, the demeanor of white women is a stark contrast to what they get from black women. White women are not loud and combative as black women, by a mile. This is seen as a good move to make if you want a peaceful life (which is what nearly every man wants). Additionally, white women aren't generally as fat and openly angry as black women are. Of course, going from black women to white women is like jumping from the fire into frying pan if you are dealing with westernized women.

Te problem is that these chicks believe that they can shame and blame men indefinitely and still have men love them. But, if you kick a dog enough times, it will turn against you. And I don't see women, en masse, stopping any time soon.

And I do agree with Ix that westernized women in general are really lacking what an honest man will want to settle down with. Not to say that ALL westernized women are like that... but the majority, yes. If you've found someone you can stick with and that makes you happy, then consider yourself extremely lucky. I know that Insultobot has had the same GF since before he ever joined the Mag and any time he's mentioned his relationship, he's seemed quite content. Hold on to that, friend.

But yeah, I'm gambling with this again. Have been for 8 months (heh, she's white) and so far everythings been going quite well. But to get more on topic... I don't ever see myself dating a black woman.

Not counting appearance, if you put a black girl in a white girl environment, you'll see absolutely no difference between her and a regular white girl. And vice-versa. Which proves that 'black girl environment' and 'white girl environment' are concepts that make no sense.

Regarding appearance, yeah, black girls tend (not always) to come with a few traditional characteristics that I, personally, don't find that attractive.

But that's actually the minority. 'Black' people are actually really rare here in Brasil, because there's a lot of 'interracial' breeding non-stop all the time. So what I see a lot here are girls who are not properly 'black' but rather 'darker', with miscellaneous appearance highlights stemming from a number of different 'races'.
And sh*t, those can be beautiful sometimes.

But yeah, answering your question properly, it all depends on the environment and what environment do black girl occupy where you live.

One similarity I see in both groups is the gossip. That's very very common around here.

However, I've noticed that I've been more successful getting with white girls (no relationship, but I get some kind of physical pleasure like kisses). That's just me.

So to everyone who has responded, what would you say your daily or historical ratio is with how much contact you've had with black girls vs white girls ?

I'm still trying to gather if anyone out there really knows both black and white girls relatively equally (i.e. dated both, good friends with both, family is related to both, etc.) or do most of you have a biased perspective (not that you are trying to be biased, but how can one say what it would be like for example to date one type of girl if your experience your whole life has been to date only the other type, etc.)?

All through highschool there was a friend. And she was black. Her name was Nakita and she was actually a really cool person to be around. We were friends for years so I doubt a relationship would ever have came of it, but the friendship I shared with her leads me to believe I'm not bias in the topic at hand.

At my private school whose target audience is middle-class to above, I see 90% or more white girls.

In capoeira, which has no specific target audience (i.e. everyone), I'd say it's about 50-50.

Again, over here it's really hard to find a black people. And I'm not going to ask you 'how far into mulatto do you still consider white?'. So there.

Lantis, I'm not saying you (or anyone here) is racist, but we ALL are biased by all kinds of things including whatever experiences we have, our environment, what we are taught, etc.

So in the ratio I mentioned, you have had one black female friend. How many white female friends of relatively equal friendship have you had?

Oh, I know I'm not racist... I didn't think you were saying otherwise either, so no worries.

But honestly, the ratio of black female friends to white ones is probably close to 1/7. It's not very even, by any means. So I understand you standpoint in that area.

I come from an industrial urban suburb. I grew up in the environment of many white, black, and hispanic people, so I have been around all of them my whole life, but I wasn't close friends with any black people until college or especially after college. Even then, they were guys. I have attened college with and especially worked around many black women, and they seem to convey none of the negative stereotypes I freqeuently encounter.

So as I sat there to try to figure out what Tyra was saying, I realized that I didn't really have that much experience with close relationships to black girls which leads me to believe that the black girls that I know are probably not very different from the white girls I know, BUT equally to my point, not having this experience, I can't say that I know that to be the case either. That is why I am looking for someone who in a sense hasn't been burned by the 'bad' ones or by those who only know an occasional 'good' one to see if there really is a significant difference between black girls and white girls.

The bad ones might be good if you get to know them and the good ones might be bad if you get to know, them, right? So is this any different for girls of all races?
