At first I was like... um, that's just a background in a custom level.

Well... it is. But the level and all of the sound effects from going through it match the music playing in some weird, messed up, insanely cool fashion. Alot of time must have gone into these, so you should really give them a look see.

I think my favorite was either the Air theme or the Dr.W theme from Megaman theme.
