Yes.

A clucking text-based online RPG.

:XD And it's awesome.

Radical Dreamers for the SNES... best text based adventure ever. It's not online, but never the less.

Okay, so me and SK are just about finished up with Ocarina of Time and are going to start going chronological as presented by the retrospective... meaning we are going to hit up Minish Cap next. We would already be on it if it wasn't for the fact that a series of unfortunate things didn't happen to me while in Gannon's tower. First, I forgot you actually had to do the rooms in an order. Of which I realized when I was attempting the fire room and didn't have the gold gauntlets. Then, in the shadow room, you know there's one of those Like-likes in there (the enemy that eats you and takes a tunic and/or shield). Well, it was right by the edge of a platform. I had to jump because the one I was standing on was about to dissapear. Well, kind of missed but link grabbed onto the ledge... which gave the Like-like enought time to slide its way over to me. So by the time I was up and on my feet, he ate me.

But here's where it gets sh*tty: He ate my red tunic... then spit me over the edge of the platform. This reset the room and my tunic was forever gone. Guess what. That means I can't complete the fire room. I mean, I really doubt I can finish it in a minutes thrity seconds. And what's more, I ran out of freaking arrows, so I couldn't shoot those damn seed things at the end of these room anyway. ALSO, I didn't remember the fire arrows being required... which they were, but only for the forest room. I always thought Din's Fire could reach up there.

So I had to back out of Gannon's castle, go buy another red tunic for 200 bucks. Well, I wanted to just go buy a Giant's Knife. I know it breaks but I just wanted to use it till
I got the fires down to get my master sword back in the final fight.
Luckly, I found two chests with 50 rupees in them. Then another with 200. But I could only carry 200, so 100 of that was wasted. Got the Giant's Knife Anyway, got the fire arrows... so all I needed was some arrows and I'd be good. Here's where it starts sucking ass even more... NOTHING WAS DROPPING ARROWS. NOTHING. I ran around chopping bushes, throwing rocks, breaking pots... nothing. It's like there's a gaming god and he's laughing at me. Oh, and I still had no money after buying the sword... so I couldn't buy arrows at a shop. Oh, and here's another kick in the jaw. I went to the skulltula house and had enough to get the adult wallet... 500 rupees. But I only had like 20 by this time. Remember that 100 wasted? Yeah... gaming gods laugh some more. I has to bushwack my way to 60 rupees and buy my arrows back. hell... at 50 I went to see the price. I just assumed 50 was enough. So seeing the price tag on the arrows, the gaming gods were probably pissing themselves laughing. So I went out and made the other 10 and got my freakin arrows.

GAH... That was just gay. I'll tell you this though... I'll find great pleasure in driving the master sword deep into Gannon's fat ass skull now.

Other than that I've still been playing Devil May Cry 4. I've gotten to mission 8 on Dante Must Die mode. Almost half way there. Man, that is a frustrating game... but it rocks so hard.

Also got a good deal farther with Kajak in FF5. If you've been keeping up, I've mastered my red mage and now works with time magic. I leared w-cast which means I can cast two spells at a time. And a double demi means I can get an enemy to a forth of his HP in just that character's turn alone. Kajak gave up summoning on his summoner/white mage to try and work on trainer for some unkown reason. My ninja/sorcorer isn't quite yet mastered yet, but I'll probably just leave him as he is even after he's mastered. I'm not sure what Kajak's going to do with his hunter/ninja.

But that's about all the gaming I've done. I've been busy with alot of other things lately.

How I wish I could beat Lunar: SSSC... My second disc is all scratched up and freezes whenever I use a spell in battle on the second disc.

@ice- ToD2 is one of my all time favorites. Its alot like SO2 in some areas, which isn't a bad thing. I never finished ToD1, but its not cuz it was a bad game, I just never got around to it.

Indeed, I hear it's excellent, and after playing through Tot Abyss (which is my favorite PS2 game), I have an incredible interest in the other Tales games. It seems odd how ToD1 is single player only...kinda ruins the fun of co-op play. Regardless, I'm pumped to try them out.

In other news, more Snash Bros Brawl and Wonder project J2 playing. I finally finished the SSE with the help of my friend. I thought the whole Adventure mode was a failure. Boring stuff. But hey, multiplayer is better than ever, and that's all that really matters.

I finally finished the first Fatal Frame on Xbox, and that was a blast to play through. Was very much worth my time, and I'd give it a high recommendation to anyone interested in it. There's also extras afterward, such as a battle mode and higher difficulty.

So that's what I've been doing lately.

Bo. You are, in fact, correct. I still have the first and second, but haven't played through them in a good while. I should definately do that sometime soon.

Oblivion scares the hell out of me. And closing an Oblivion Gate makes me shiver in fear.

Yes, this is the ONLY game I'm playing at the moment.

Well, I've been playing Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for a while. Beat Story Mode in Normal , Hard and Very Hard, and I need to beat the Very Hard final bosses with my female Clavat in Multiplayer.
But I don't think I'm touching that game again. :|

Watch those videos I linked to and you will never, ever fear Oblivion.

I'm still playing some La Pucelle after I got back my PS2 from my little rbother. I'm on Chapter 4 and am on this Mushroom Mt. I did fairly well against the monsters there, and met with one particular one that kicked my ass every time. I ran off to the next level, thinking I could get back to the world map to exit and heal. Herein lies the problem though: you must beat every monster to skip that level. So despite the fact I took out very monster except one, I'm basically stuck between level one and two, since the monsters in level one respawn after I left, along with the strong monster I couldn't beat. So thankfully I saved beforehand and will try and tackle the mountain again.

It's always frustrating to lose progress in a game.

ACK! I have just lost my addictive pleasures to GTA 4.

Well, clocking in 50 hours into Oblivion was great...but I may spend double the hours on GTA 4. Pretty huge game.

I've just gotten all 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy! Apparently, I'm also supposed to do this again, but that's a long, long way off.

Congrats... I know what it takes to be able to do that. The reward you get for it is totally not really worth it. Personally, what you get for getting 120 stars should be an avalible option from the very beginning of the game. Ah well.

Also, I finished playing DMC 4:

Lantis wrote:
Well, I've finally done it. The game save says it took me 84 hours, 38 minutes, and 39 seconds, but I've finally completed every difficulty of the game.

Alas, though... Capcom had thrown a wrench in my gears. A returning difficulty from DMC3 called Heaven or Hell mode was included. Meaning that both you and your enemies will die in one hit. After I beat that, I played through the Must Die difficulty.

Here's where it snowballs. After beating Must Die, it told me I unlocked "Hell and Hell" mode. DO WHAT?!

Hell and Hell mode is a mode where you die in one hit... but the enemies do not. The game's difficulty is set on hard... but you die in one hit... every time.

Through the past few weeks though, I have actually managed to surpass this mode. So once again, I can say I have beaten every Devil May Cry title with every character on every difficulty.

Here's a pic I took with my phone of all difficulties... all completed:

Here's my final score from innitially playing:

I may go back and try to S rank as many as possible later... but I think I'll take a break from DMC for a while. Hell and Hell mode REALLY took it out of me. It was just insane.

Anyway, I totally got my money's worth out of it. I took me more time mastering this file of DMC4 than it takes me to master a file in Final Fantasy VII. This was an awesome, awesome game.

Me and SK are still planning on playing through all of the Zelda titles still. Me and Kajak still need to finish FF5 also.

My girlfriend is becoming a "GamerScoreWhore." It all started last christmas when I got her TMNT for the 360 as a stocking stuffer. That was the easiest 1000 gamerscore she had ever gotten. Then I told her there were others. She is taking it slow but the signs are there.
Last night she rented Surf's Up. Here's the info... [CLICK]
Well, my girlfriend played most of it but some of the achievements are genuinly difficult so I ended up helping with them.

To be honest I enjoyed the game. I won't by any means say its great but its fun enough to play through once and get the 1000GS. Especially since getting all 1000 takes around 5 hours. So that's what I am currently doing. I am halfway done, as you can see in my sig, and will finish tonight or tomorrow. So if there are any GamerScoreWhores in your life, send them this little kids title.

The little zelda party me and SK have going is still continuing:

[x]Zelda 1
[x]Link's Adventure
[x]A Link to the Past
[x]Ocarina of Time
[x]Minish Cap
[ ]Majora's Mask
[ ]Link's Awakening
[ ]Oricle of Ages
[ ]Oricle of Seasons
[ ]Wind Waker
[ ]Phantom Hourglass
[ ]Four Swords
[ ]Twilight Princess

Slowly but surely, you know?

Other than that, I've been playing some serious PSP. I finished Crisis Core, and I've got to say that
the ending does a really sh*tty job of leading up to VII. I mean, it shows Cloud riding the train to sector 8 just like the PS3 technical Demo but before he jumps off the train. So you'd think you'd know everything there was.

Wrong. While in the train he said he was first class SOLDIER, Cloud... What? I thought he was with avalanche at this time and had quit SOLDIER. And btw, as far as it really is concerned he never was in SOLDIER... he was nothing more than an infantryman in Shin-Ra (granted, that latter part could be because of the mako poisoning and the beginning of his mental break-down sh*t that happens all to often in VII). And there are more plot holes that'll linger on the pallet.
I could go on about the problems with slots and way too many enemies having "Death" spells (on a party of 1, which means game over), but I'll pass.

I've already played God Of War: Chains of Olympus... and it was actually really awesome. I mean, it was no Devil May Cry, but it was definately worth the playthrough. You know how in every God of War they have a funny costume to unlock. Like the first was a cow suit and you used milk jugs as weapons. And the second you played in a fish suit and had fish hooks for weapons (aptly named the Cod of War). In the PSP game, you unlock the Spud of War, in which Kratos dressed in a patato and had patato peelers for weapons. lulz.

Anyway, I'm not starting Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War. And OMG the added scenes are so freaking awesome. it's like cell-shading, but with a very new style I can't really put my finger on.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Xzl51pUqqac&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Xzl51pUqqac&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

See? I'm just loving that.

Though, I will mention one gripe I already have. They re-named MOST of the skills and abilities. When I saw them I was like, "OMG NEW SKILLZ"... but no. They are the same skills just with different names. So now I'm going to have to get used to that. It does also seems that they changed a bit of the dialog too... though I actually think it's for the better. Subtle changes that people who haven't played through a few times wouldn't really notice.

Afterwards, I'll probably play Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness... which is a game that takes place right before Disgaea 1... and you play as Enta the entire time... fun.

Actually it IS Disgaea 1 but cleaned up slightly and after you beat the game you can play through again in Etna Mode where its the same but obviously different story.

Oh and I still have a few hours before work so I gotta get back to Surfs Up if I wanna get that 1000GS

The only video i saw was of Etna. I'm amazed they went through the trouble of voice acting a mode just for her.

Just finished getting 1000GS in Surf's Up. Seriously those with a 360 rent it and actually enjoy a short run for 1000. I had fun playing it.
