I need help in one quick thing.

This is a RPG Maker VX windowskin file:



What I need concerns only the upper-right part: the frame with the arrows. Actually, only the frame. If someone could help me with that, I'd be very grateful. ^^

What I need is the exact same file, with the following modifications:

A silvery texture in the frame (as opposed to the lame plastic-like one there)
And interesting corners. I want ornate corners, also silvery, in a sort of gothic fashion. So the in-game windows look more interesting and moody. It's all about atmosphere. Note that the corners themselves in the window image are exactly 16x16 pixel blocks. I tried, but I can't do anything in that size =x Perhaps someone out there can.
It doesn't have to be over-ornate, only... more interesting. Maybe even a simple detail will do.

And consider this a teaser, guys... yes, I'm working with VX at the moment...

Sorry for the fake post a second ago, saw something I wnated to fix. Also, I know you didn't want anything over the top... so if you need, I could possibly get those corners a bit smaller.

That would be really, really perfect... if it wasn't for this (quite hilarious, if I might say):



Yeah... the damned corners need to be 16x16 each. Anything exceeding that and you got madness galore in the window.

But you really got the mood I'm looking for... it'd be great if you could make those corners smaller. 16x16.
Damn. I don't know if it's even possible to see anything that small. If you bump into an EPIC FAILURE (like I did earlier today... *blush*), no problem.

Oh, I see what you are getting at. Anything past the actual corer sides get repeated after so long on the straight edges.

Seeing as it is alright to overlap it a bit, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do something. I'll give it another shot tomorrow.

And btw, that screenshot is rather funny. I giggled.

I tried to use the same corners as the last one... but when they got that small, it pretty much just made the corners look like a jumbled mess. So I tried instead of editing the corners, adding something on.

that should just hit under the 16x16 area for each corner. I know it's not very detailed, but I can still work with it if you have any more suggestions.

*Epic Sigh*

Again, I tried to do stuff myself, but failed miserably.

If you could make those rounded corners pointy, it'd be perfect. Please?

SoOoOoOo... I think we did it, finally.

Also (it is too awesome not to show) I found this incredible texture pattern to overlay the window (VX has this nice feature). You can see it if you take just a moment to actually notice it. It adds a very nice little touch, if you ask me.

I see some flaws in the second on. Though it may be just me. If you care, I can touch it up a bit more.
