Importing RPG Tsukuru 4 tells agetec nothing. it is meaningless in trying to get the title a US release. This game is eight years old. agetec couldnt find out the current sale numbers if they tried.

Agetec knows all about the demand for this game. there's no worries there.

RPG Maker titles sell very well. I don't have the sale numbers, but they're quite profitable. Considering the age of this title. it could make a bigger profit than any of the other RPG Makers ever had, since I imagine if it's possible to license now, it would be quite cheap to do so.

Enterbrain's internal console RPGM staff being gone means nothing as far as is concerned. They've never hesitated to hire outside developers before (Argent made RPG Tsukuru 4, for example), and I doubt they'd hesitate in the future.

It may just not be the right time for a new console RPG Maker right now. they know the market better than we do, probably better than anyone. they own Famitsu, after all.

Eh, no matter. I got myself overly excited about it anyway. Still gonna wind up importing it. But I guess I can withhold from spilling everything that's in it. Maybe save that information for pre-release, if/when that happens.
