How many music tracks do you expect to be in your game?

Your game was inspired by Baki The Grappler, right?

This game is in development for rpgm XP, correct?

And what is it a sequel to? Will it continue that story or be seperate?

Yes, this is an RPG Maker XP project. This game is the sequel to
Light Warrior: Yuji the Fighter on RPG Maker 2. The story basically leaves
off and continues the story a few years after the events in the first game.



Actually, the game is based off of a lot of things. Mainly fighting/adventure
anime such as Grappler Baki and Samurai Champloo. And asian cinema
such as Jet Li's Fist of Legend (his remake of Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury) and
many of Jackie Chan's films.




That is undetermined at the time. Mainly cause the only parts of the story
I make sure are written are the beginning, and the end. The middle is
totally made on the spot and fresh from ideas in my mind. So, because
of that, I may need to make more music tracks in response to me not
having a definite middle that leads to the end.

Currently, at the time of this writing, there are over 15 tracks made for
the game.

This is only partially about the game itself, but I thought I'd ask...

Have you watched movies by Donnie Yen or Tony Jaa?

If so, please do be inspired by them =3

Of course I've seen Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa.

The only Donnie Yen movie I've seen is Iron Monkey,
but I'm probably sure I've seen more movies in which the choreography is
done by him.

Tony Jaa is just an amazing piece of work there. The only one really that
could even be CLOSE to be considered Jackie Chan's successor.

I was thinking of incorporating the Muay Thai fighting style in the game.
At this time though, it's still just a concept as I need to improve my
pixel art skills to really make that specific style work.

What do you use to edit your music?

I use FL Studio to record most of my music, then for some tracks
I send the .mp3 over to Adobe Audition for mastering/equalizing.

Are you going to release a compilation of your soundtracks?

Yes, I am going to release a separate soundtrack with mastered songs.
Don't know when, but it'll be soon after the release of the game.

So with all these musicial related questions, can I safely assume that you are making the music for this game?

Yes, yes I am. Even when I'm busy and not able to work on the game itself,
I still have time to actually make music for this and other projects.
