It looks like Markdak's life bar is at full (from page 1), so let's leave the inn and check out the weapon shop. If it's been burned down, perhaps there is something of value that can be salvaged.

Doh! Mardak only has 140 gold. Can't buy the sword.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible to know what kind of damage that sword would do if we do buy it eventually because maybe it would be worth it to sell the dagger and get some gold in order to upgrade weapons?

If the dagger can be sold, what amount of gold would Mardak get for it?

Sure. The sword will let you hit 3-6 on a dice roll. Dice rolls are mainly used on larger creatures or boss battles. On small creatures one hit will kill unless its a magic creature.
