Please...tell me.

I have no issues with washing after using the bathroom and such.

Think about this... do you know how your body builds immunities to viruses, colds, and such? Through such things as vaccines. You know what a flu vaccine is?

The flu.

letting your body come into contact with some germs will teach your body how to handle them when they re-appear.

If you are a perfectly steril person... your immunity system will suck and you will get sick often. The bigger deal people make out of this, the more of a problem it will become, I think.

and on another, slightly perverted note: I think it's funny that you should wash your hands after touching yourself when you use the bathroom... but people have no issue with oral sex.

So it's like... a women doesn't want to touch your hand because you touched your penis when you go to the bathroom. But that same woman, that same night, will be willing to go south of the border... so to speak.

Washing your hands is a good idea to reduce the spread of germs unnecessarily, but we have an immune system that also functions to combat germs. It isn't necessarily biologically "gross" to rely on the immune system since we are all biological organisms, and I do agree that being to sterile may be a negative thing.

However, feeling relatively clean does feel better to me and is less "gross" psychologically. It is more comfortable, and hand washing is consistent with that perspective. That is probably why girls do it more than guys.

U know what I hate... Sitting on a toilet that someone had left pee on, after wiping it clean. Think about all the germs ur butt checks have.

Also reading.. Does not say how many girls that did not was there hands.

Going in public restrooms I have seen many girls not wash there hands. I think that report is picking on men. And thats not nice.

I would also like to add..

The girls room is normaly far worse then the mens bathrooms. I know this because I use to clean them when I worked my past jobs.

I never wash my hands. Only if they are dirty from something like oil. Otherwise I rub it off on my jeans and go about my day.

And the strange thing is, I hardly ever get sick.

Do you think it adds flavor to your food? XD
I know some people joke about that.
