Would you take a friend in your home that needs a place to sleep?

Close friends are always welcome to stay, I trust them and I am there for them, but it strains the friendship if they stay too long and I mean more than a couple days or a couple weeks if a serious problem occurs.

I would let my friend 'crash' at my place one night if he/she is fighting with their spouse, etc., but anymore than that is enabling trouble.

Both sides should look at staying as a LAST resort. It is too easy a first resort for many people.
