Okay, i just laughed after reading the posts above. It made me crack, Oh, the humor @__@ Honestly though, ice ruins the flavor of any soda drinks. Because they will mix with the soda causing the soda to be mixed with water. Coke/Pepsi + Ice? Noooo....

Yeah, that's exactly my point. I'd rather have a drink that's not as cold (but still cold, imho) instead of having it really cold and just get watered down as the ice melts.

I'll only add ice if I'm drinking it from a glass or plastic cup. I'm not a fan of ice melting in my drinks, but it's even worse IMO if there isn't something that isn't restricting all that open soda into my mouth. Wish I could word that better so you could understand where I'm coming from.

Actually, I also don't light fighting ice for my drink upon entry into my mouth... SPECIALLY the ice in sonic drinks... you just can't make your mouth small enough, it aways gets through...

The best way to have soda pop is with shaved ice in a paper cup.

Anything less is soda pop noobish.

Pepsi with ice is the good stuff.

Though... that's a different story. Actually a soda pop with some shaved ice is the best!! Especially if you use a large straw, and slurp it. That way the ice just crackles in your mouth >__<

Crushed ice is great, second only to shaved ice.

Cubes are not always good, but you can rarely go wrong with crushed ice and never with shaved ice.

@Lantis - Your dislike of Ice is natural, but you must remember that in all things there is a lesson to be learnt.

The ice cube is (in a crazy little way) civilisation. When it sticks in your throat a little, if it impedes your drinking, you should just remember what a Pepsi tastes like warm.

Be thankful for it, and doubly thankful if it hasn't given you brain freeze.

I like Coke alot but for some odd reason I have been drinking more and more Pepsi. Maybe my tastes are changing in my old age.

I'm actually surprised at how many people like Pepsi over Coke in this forum.

I think that maybe Coke used to advertise better in the 70's and 80's and Pepsi did so better in the 90's and now.

Nah, I just like the taste of Pepsi better. (Again, Diet Pepsi.)
