You have a good point. Though, the only way my well-being is affected by this kind of behaviour from other is in the sense that I get troubled when seeing someone who can't think properly. This 'properly' is completely subjectively and personally defined... But anyway, I really feel sorry for those people. Sarcastic, witty and cinical remarks are just the way I chose to deal with the situation (and hope the other person gets the point behind what I'm saying), after years of trial-and-error of other methods.
