I think the coolest insect is those bugs on Starship Troopers, I wouldn' want to meet any of them though, never ever ever.

Locusts, cicadas, crickets, frogs, fireflies, moths, coyotes, mockingbirds, whipporwhills, people walking dogs at midnight.
It's all the same when it helps the time pass.
