heh, well if nothign else new ones have prettier visual effects - the lightning on that one villain was pretty awesome, i thought.

you bring up a good point - superman in this one is sort of 'cute' ... originally superheroes were supposed to be like... the whole 'big manly hunk' look. it totally goes to show how the world, and peoples perceptions of what is 'in' or 'hot' or whatever, what the 'stars' are supposed to look like, has all changed since not even too long ago.

I'm seeing a mix of Superman 1&2 redone and Superman 6.

thats exactly what I was thinking. Im not a big fan of Smallville but I might watch this to see the first time he uses the name superman. ..I expect to be disappointed.Whatever.
