For those with a bit of spanish knowledge:

Spanish is my native language, and I found this hilarious! Maybe it's because I'm easily entertained?

Very cool.

I'm half Puerto Rican; however my Spanish knowledge expands to like 10 words.

Like... Yo soy bien... is like I am good. I think. And I of course know Grande(but so does everyone else who goes to taco bell), and one that really stuck was "lo siento" I'm sorry.
Makes me feel the massive guilt when I visit my Puerto Rican side of the family and cannot speak to the 1st generation members too well.:x

If the Spanish teacher at my high school wasn't crazy, I would have totally taken Spanish instead of French.

one for Faye;

'no se nada, ayudame?'

literally; 'i don't understand a thing, help?'

you wouldn't believe how often i used that one in school.

Heh, very funny.
Though usually I can't understand Spanish. Native Spanish speakers confuse the hell out of me.

What amazes me is the difficulty US people have to pronounce the R's in latin languages.

^Yeah, that's true.
But I've noticed we (at least spanish speakers) have trouble with i, ea, ee, and anything that can sound similarly like that
A friend from Georgia was trying to make us see the difference of saying living and leaving. I think I was the only one who (barely was able to prounounce them differently, but well :lol
And I won't even start on how to say sheet insetad of anothe very similar word.

I don't meant to nitpick, but doesn't "anyudame" mean "help me"?

I've been casually learning Spanish, mainly latin american spanish, over the last 3 or 4 years of my life. I'd consider myself a little better than average, but I've got a long way to go. If there's one thing I struggle with it's the accents and stresses on different words. like esta and está.

I'm curious as to if anyone here is from Spain? Only recently have I begun learning about, err, Spainish Spanish, which is called something that begins with a C if I remember right =/

Anyway, I never knew that there were three different kinds of spanish spoken in Spain besides the normal one. Euskerra or however it's spelled confuses me, but only because it's nothing like Spanish.

EDIT: I remember now, Castilian spanish is the main language of Spain, with Catalan alos being very popular. If I remember right besides Euskerra there is one other spoken above Portugal?
