I find that there are three forms of media that I indulge myself in from time to time. We have topics for two of them. Video games and books. I'm pretty sure that I'm not TOO much diffrent from others and keep up with TV series. Well, I say TV... but I generally mean just any series (personally for me, it would be specifically anime [besides, I don't even have cable, so "TV" is a loosely used term.]).

So like the Book Club thread and the Game Progress thread... go ahead and post what series you are currently watching, what you think of it, ect...

I'm currently watching .hack//Signs now. I know it's been around for a while, and I've heard that it was mediocre... which it is. But I'm going to finish it never the less.

Before I watched Signs, I watched all of Fullmetal Alchemist. And I really like that anime. Great story. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, they should.

Also, I've been keeping up with Naruto Shippuuden. There's a thread wandering somewhere around the mag for it, but it's rather... dead atm. The only issue with it is that, like a normal TV series, I'm having to wait week to week to see an episode. I'm kind of use to all of them being at the ready to see as I see fit. Kind of feels dumb waiting a week for 30 minutes of video... But what can you do, eh?

Ah .. yeah... the 'official' subs for .hack//Sign are totally horrible. 'colone purfume' honestly. you would think that 'official' people would have a bit more sense. but apparantly not. Yay for Sora though ^___^ totally my favourite.

I never did get to finish Full Metal Alchemist, heh.

Currently not watching anything really. I think the last thing I watched was some random Invader Zim ^___^ or the last new thing I watched was Spaced - which is a pretty good show

I'm watching the DBZ Series again. It's the best anime

Also, .Hack Twilight is pretty good. But it can get annoying sometimes.

And finally, I'm watching anything on HBO XD

Right now, I just got the complete Star Ocean EX and I am watching that. Then I will start up the Arc the Lad series. I love the games, so I really hope the anime doesn't fail me.

Sora? I think he's a total loser. Pompus, conceited loser. And why does he make verbal sound effects for jumping and such? Bah!

I think that Bear and Subaru are about the only character who have a level head on their shoulders.

Anyway, I've almost finsihed it... I've got like 4 more episodes left.

Twilight as in TP Zelda game? I loved them 80's Sat. morning cartoons with Mario and Zelda. I wish they keep them toons going. I'm not sure if that would be a "series" or not. But I loved it.

I finished .hack//signs last night. I must say I'm a bit... lost.

Well, I follow the storry well enough to know that [spoiler]Tsucasa did recover from her coma and that she did meet up with Subaru in the real world. I also know that Mimiru, Bear, and Helba made it through as well (Mimiru and Bear do to the extra episodes later).[/spoiler] The way the series ended was perfect for .hack//Infection to pick up. [spoiler]Since they didn't say what happened when Helba closed net slums while Skeith was present. Infection picked up with Skeith chasing Aura and through the game you get closure on that. (I assume Sora recovers from his coma after .hack//Quarantine.[/spoiler] But that does leave me will many questions. Maybe you can help me with that, Sumi. Like [spoiler]Does Bear actually become to foster parent to Tsucasa? What happend to Crim and Silver Knight? After Helba dumped the Net Slums field, they were the only two who you didn't get any information on.[/spoiler] And unfortunately they never really explain any of Tsucasa's past. Those flashbacks are just about all you get.

Oh well, it wasn't bad...

I think I'll be moving on to Tsubasa Chronicles now... at least it'll give me something to watch while waiting for Shippuuden to pick up. They skipped last weeks episode. ¬_¬

I'm really enjoying Baki the grappler.

The series has some very good characters.

@lantis - i havn't actually seen the whole thing as far as i know.. mayb ei have... iunno. ive seen Liminality, i'm pretty sure most if not all of Sign, read Legend of the Twilight, ... not played the games though. iunno.. i don't actually know the whole story really. i havn't seen it for ages either XD

Right now I'm watching Hokuto no ken/Fist of the north star, D.Grayman, Bleach, naruto shippuuden, Noein, Gundam Seed Destiny and Devil may cry. Hokuto no ken is one of the best animes, just like dbz and gatchaman.

Me too... but in engrish? I would very much like a link, if so.

@ Sumi - Heh, don't trouble yourself... I'm pretty sure those holes were left there for a reason. Kind of like our Regal Holes. You'd think we'd cover those up by now or something. ^_-

I'm done with Baki. I'm gonna watch .Hack Twilight again. It's a good series but, it isn't that great =D
