Ever thought catching Mew on Pokemon Blue and Red was impossible without a Gameshark (or GameGenie!)? Well its actually possible. As soon as I found out I made a video and posted it EVERYWHERE. This is the ORIGINAL way and the easiest. Although, during the video, I saved it before I fought Mew. I do not advise you to do so, because it could screw up your chances of catching Mew if you save it before fighting said Mew.

Now the only question is, does it have Mew stats or some other Pokemon's stats? I ask because while you can obtain Mew using a Gameshark, the Gameshark only replaces a Pokemon's graphic and Dex# to Mew, but it doesn't change the replaced Pokemon's stats. So if you wound up using the Gameshark code to get Mew instead of Bulbasaur, you'll get a Mew with Bulbasaur's stats.
