During 2001 I recorded an instrumental album entitled "The Dragon's Realm". Equipment used were a Yamaha DX11 synthesizer, Alesis 8-track sequencer, Radio Shack mixer, and Philips CD Recorder. It was my first album recorded direct to compact disc. I did it on my own in my apartment. The album had a very limited distribution at the time (copies were given to family and friends).

The album's 34 tracks musically tell a story of a lone warrior who embarks on a quest to fight a ferocious dragon who has been terrorizing the kingdom. The musical style here is mostly techno dance in the tradition of 80s and early 90s keyboard techno rock, but it also bears a resemblance to video game music from the NES/Genesis era.

Here I present the complete 34-track album, converted to MP3 format. The album is composed of 5 chapters. Each chapter is contained in a separate zip file.

They moved my album into the "Electronic: Games Soundtrack" section. I guess because it sounds like video game music. I honestly didn't know what genre to choose for it. Can't remember what I chose.

I removed all of the brief intro pieces because the Soundclick player was having problems playing them. I guess they're too short (about 5 to 6 seconds each).
