I approve of this.

Hopefully the megazord is replaced with a giant pirate ship who's main weapon that they will always use to destroy the daily bad-guy will be like a giant harpoon cannon mounted on the front. And hopefully they will all have a super heavy pirate-y accent. And call the women 'wenches'. Yarrr!!!

There should be a mermaid-shaped jewel or something grafted onto the front of their Megazord's super-harpoon cannon, too.

I can see it now. The yellow pirate will be rum, the green pirate can be scurvy, the blue pirate can be Pillage, the black one can be Cutlass, and the Red one can be The Cappin'.

I don't see anybody with a hook, an aye patch or a talking parrot. Whassupwithat?

You can't see their eye patch because they wear helmets. But at least the helmets look like pirate hats. I'm sure that Zordon would be a giant talking jolly roger instead of a floating head... and that little Alpha robot thing would be a robotic talking parrot. And I'm more than sure one of the 4 other rangers has a hook for a weapon.
