So thanks to Stythe, I was able to pre-order some Chrono Trigger models. 5 different models made after scenes in the game (that also had concept art of which you can see in this video). Stythe telling me about these was like giving money to an alcoholic for booze.

Anyway, they JUST got in. So I took pics.

Here's the box they came in. It's perforated around the logo, so store owners would be able to sell them in a display.


They each came in a smaller box.

They were packaged quite well together actually.

I really like how they turned out... and now they will adorn my computer desk for all of eternity. Though you may notice that it while I have 5 models... there are six boxes. That's because it came with an extra one. I'm not really sure why, but whatever. So I have an extra unopened model of Lucca working on Robo. I opened the box but not the packaging. Not sure what I want to do with it yet.

Anyways, thought I'd share. I really dig these, thanks Stythe.

You like Chrono trigger too much, fo real. Run and tell that.

Somehow, they look a bit better than the demo photo let on. Good to see.

Items like this almost always comes with 1 extra figure (the stunt double thing I posted a while back was the same way, too) and I also never really figured out why. A lot of people just buy the whole box straight up to guarantee they get everything, but I can only assume they do it so that an open box at a retailer that has already sold one out of it still has a chance of having them all. Maybe.

I tend to give away my doubles to people on figure.fm. People like free stuff.

You're the only person I know that has a favorite game that's SO MUCH his favorite that he'd buy all related collectables he can.

Although I'd imagine there's plenty of people that collect Pokémon and Final Fantasy gear.

The detail is amazing actually. Lucca's glasses actually have lenses in the frames of her glasses. Color me impressed.

This...is pretty awesome. But you do like Chrono Trigger way to much >.<
