Edit: Basically, what I'm trying to say is, something that is supposedly new isn't really new in this case, except for the marshmallow shape. Other than that, it's like it's the early 1990's all over again. Sheesh.

I don't get why marshmallows in cereal get a lot of flack. I know they're not like the big puffy marshmallows, but what you expect? They're supposed to last, after all. And they're still good, IMO. I guess it's just one of those things that some people like, and some don't. Like raisins. Yet I don't see a lot of people comparing raisins with feces. Except in Alvin and the Chipmunks. (Worst. Joke. Ever.)

By the way, Post isn't the only one to pull this stunt. General Mills changed the shapes of Trix from fruity shapes to ball shapes, with a big ol' NEW! label. And yet Trix used ball shapes before they became fruity shapes.

yeah. General mills really pushes KIX. It gets turned into EVERY THING.

Have they had Dino Pebbles nonstop until the Marshmallow Mania? If not, it would be "new" (not just in name and shape) to some of today's younger kids if this type of cereal was off the market for awhile (although having said that, all of it is still Lucky Charms anyways, right?)

By the way, I love marshmallows in cereal.

Well yeah, it's new to the kids, and I suppose that is their target audience. But us older kids are not impressed.
