I believe that every single person in Congress should be forced to have their children drafted whenever Congress decides to go to war. Perhaps then they would be less willing to warmonger.

On top of that, their should be camera crews following them, so we know that they're being sent to combat zones.

Yes, I know this is a violation of their children's rights, which I wouldn't endorse in the voting booth, but I like to imagine these people understand the level of sacrifice they're making with other people's lives.

This is not relevant UNTIL there is a draft. No one who goes to war now has been drafted to do so. Those who serve in war knew it was a possibility when they enlisted and it is not congress' fault that the enlisted must now fulfill their responsibility that they themselves signed up for.

Don't get me started about the draft.

But what does piss me off is that Congress is willing to put the lives of soldiers on the line in places they don't even need to be. But I consider that everywhere that is not the US.
