Always been a fan of Cameron's movies, so I knew I'd love this one.
I highly recommend it because Pandora is an amazing world. Saw it in 3D, which is nice, but I'm sure the film is just as good without it.

Oh, one more thing.

FURRIES.

It's 3 hours long.

I can't sit through another one this year.

All shouting "furries" will do is make me slightly curious enough to ask what the movie is. I'm not about to jump out to see a 3D movie.

Then why advertise it? It's like saying how Blue Dragon is from the creator of Final Fantasy.

Because Titanic was one of the most successful movies of all time, And it helps build the hype for Avatar.

*shrug*

Titanic was an exceedingly well done movie, and I will be seeing this one because of its premise, not because of Titanic; though, being made by a talented director never hurts your chances, with me.

Also, if it helps you ninnies, someone could start making posters saying "From The Maker of Terminator 2: Judgment Day."

... Dear lord, this movie was fantastic in ways I can't even convey.

I didn't see it in 3D, or even on the big screen, but I still spent the majority of the movie trying to pick my jaw up off the floor.

See it.

Apparently there's been a lot of confusion over the movie's name.

HA! That was funny. I actually kind of liked Avatar: The Last Air Bender.

Doubleposting to emphasize my lack of optomism.

I just say this last night and was quite impressed. Cheap ass Arkansas, of course, didn't have it in 3D... but it was still a reall well done movie. Might have been a stereotypical guy-on-bad-side-falls-in-love-and-fights-for-good thing that's been done many times in the past, but I still enjoyed all 3 hours. I was actually hoping for it to go on a bit longer.

So like... if it comes out on blu-ray, will it have like... a 3D edition with glasses or something?

::Edit::

Actually, I got bored enough to look it up myself.

http://www.movieweb.com/news/NEbDEgfjzSfcef

So not at first... but eventually. Cool.

But wait... looks like everyone will have to buy new Blu-ray players to support the newer 3D format.

f*ck that noise:

Lol, hope those PS3 haters don't mind the flavor of crow.

That's why my Blu-ray player will be a PS3.

Haven't seen Avatar but I will just wait for the home experience.

Saw it for the third time today, but this time in 3D.

Even more amazing the third time.

I'll have to wait till what's looking like the fourth quarter of 2010 to check it out the 3D aspect... when it's released as the first home 3D experience.

It's not a 3 hour movie! It's a 2.5 hours movie!
I just saw it 2D and I really liked the movie. And it kept me glued to my seat. Usually. long movies make me comfortable and crazy for it to end. Not with this one.
I'd watch it again. I'd like to visit 3D Pandora.

Still a far cry from Titanic, but it still has time.

Go Avatar!
