Thanks guys. While I wish I was in on a conspiracy, I sadly do not possess the crafty ninja skills to fool the internet.

So here, my birthday is not for 30 more minutes so celebrate the "Big One Oh" with Sega as the DreamCast turns 10 today, 9-9-09.
And as you do, let me tell you how today went while you plan my surprise party for the morning.

I got stuck at work from a 7 hour shift to a 13 hour shift. No big, mo' money.
Then when I got to my truck- flat tire. Mind you I shoulda saw this coming. The tires are 5 years old and not over worn, but this is Arizona, so they are sun damaged. Time to replace them. My spare was the best old tire from the last time I replaced them and I was worried it wouldn't hold air let alone have air still. Well it did both by some miracle.

So with my tire changed I came home. Turns out my girlfriend had made me a cake. Also turns out my toy poodle can fly. This seven pound dog somehow managed to jump up onto the counter and devour half of the cake. It wasn't frosted but that's a lot of sugar for her. She was jumping off the walls with her sugar-high when I came home and when I went into the kitchen where the cake was waiting to be frosted, she flew out the doggy door. She knew she was in trouble.

So tomorrow is cake take two and hopefully some one in my family will pitch in for some nice tires for my truck as a birthday gift.

I hope that doay is going better for you... because honestly, that sucks. Like... all of it. And tires are way too freaking expensive if you ask me. Isn't one alone around +$80? Nice to know that a large chunk of rubber get get up so high.

Anyways, good luck with Cake 2... let's hope this one is not a lie.

I can't help but laugh at my mental image of the poodle and the cake. But the tires thing does suck. Since my first was not official because I didn't know if it was you're after the other fake , I guess I should really say it with real meaning this time.
