What are some movies that you've never heard anyone say they hated?

1. Ghostbusters
I have never heard anyone have a single complaint about this movie my entire life. GB2, yes. GB1, no.

2. Back to the Future 1 & 2
I've heard complaints about part 3, but these two seem to have universal acclaim no matter who you talk to.

3. Alien & Aliens
Alien is the movie that everyone loves because it's one of the scariest movies ever made, and Aliens is the movie that everyone loves because it's one of the most badass movies ever made.

4. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Arnold and Sarah Connor vs. T-1000. I've never seen anyone talk smack about this.

5. Star Wars: Episode 4 & 5
I've heard people make fun of people who like Star Wars, but never heard them say they hate Star Wars.

Can you guys think of any more?

Eurotrip.

Actually, I've heard almost a complaint about it, but it went like this: "Ah, this movie... ah." So I don't think that counts.

I hated Eurotrip. And I've never seen Spirited Away.

Insightful. I've always wanted to see this back when it first came out on video but thought I was the only one who had even heard of it until I've had several people at various times all tell me they love this movie. I'll see it eventually.

I'll add Rush Hour, True Lies, and Die Hard. And if you are a guy, young or old, country boy or city boy, liberal or conservative, you gotta love Cool Hand Luke.

I should also include The Dirty Dozen especially if you are a dude.

No, Bo. See it now. It will change your life.

I would like to add Milo and Otis.

Insulta, I cannot believe it. I thought I was the only guy around my age who thought that any talking-animal movie in general - not just The Adventures of Milo and Otis - was a worthy film. Yeah, it's definitely classic.

And Bo is also quite right; I don't think there is a soul on Earth who thought any of the Die Hard movies were at all bad. And speaking of The Lost Boys, that is the greatest vampire film in history next to the original Fright Night.

.... 'Anyone mention Ferris Bueller's Day Off?

Yeah Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a good choice. Fright Night takes me back.

I had considered listing Pulp Fiction myself but the reason I left it off is the same that I left off movies like Halloween, The Exorcist, and Nightmare on Elm Street which is because a lot of people don't like violence, gore, or scary movies. If we are talking more of a universal audience than I think these movies don't make it but if we are talking about movies everyone likes per genre than they all make the list.

Well, I've never personally heard of anyone hating Pulp Fiction, but I can understand it in that scenario.

The first 30-40 minutes of Boondock Saints I adored. The rest I f*cking loathed.

Also, I think there's a general rule about Kill Bill that whoever likes one, dislikes the other, so it might be wiser to list both, and have it exist as a kind of paradox on the list.
