This is another "song" I wrote just a little bit ago, and I'm putting it up for judgment. This song is a slower song (all this is in my mind) filled with sorrow, agony, and regret. It's based off the feelings I had for a girl, and the words just came to me. Probably not very good work, but whatever. Try to enjoy it.


You Brought Me to Death

As the days go by, you rush through my mind
And oh how I wish that our souls could bind
You abandoned me when I needed you
When I thought all we had was true
Amongst the shadows on the wall
You creep as I try to call
While I walk, the lights go down
And in the shadows I shall drown

I put my heart out on the line
All in hopes that you’d be mine
But you had a different plan
And swiftly let go of my hand

Now I press my back against a wall
And you slowly start to crawl
Demonic smile creeps upon your lips
As you gently sway your hips
You tell me sweetly that you love me
And that we were meant to be
Then in my moment of hope
You strangle me with my own rope

I shouldn’t have put it all on the line
But I was hoping that you’d be mine
I was not part of your plans
Brought me death with your own hands

I should’ve know that it was all a lie
Then I wouldn’t be here waiting to die
With this rope around my throat
You smile widely as I choke
Now my vision begins to fade
Along with memories we have made
All my hopes and dreams have gone away
But in due time your soul will pay

I shouldn’t have put it all on the line

I will need to hear some music to go along with this, but as a poem, it works pretty well.
