I'm pretty relieved, actually. This Sunday was the first half of my most important vestibular (exams to get into college) test. It's the "non-specific" things, subjects that are not that important to the graduation course I'm choosing to enter in the university. Namely, my desired course is Biological Sciences and Sunday were History, Geography and Maths.

You have no idea (or probably you do) how good it feels to have the most boring part behind. Now, I got to prepare for the second and heavier part of the test: Biology, Physics and Chemistry. To happen on the 23rd of this month. Root for me! Please?

So, The Offspring just had a show in Rio last week. A friend of mine went, and he convinced me to buy their new album, and I did, and I found it so good I felt like unearthing my old Offspring CDs. And now, guess what, I have my mind filled with their songs for the first time in years.

By the way, this new album, Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace is very very good. I enjoyed it a lot. Recommended! Especially the third track, You're Gonna Go Far, Kid.

In the topic of new albums! Coldplay's, "Viva La Vida or Death and all His Friends", is also very good. Coldplay's talent is not to create Awesome Songs (though the title track of the album, "Viva La Vida", is an Awesome Song), but to create beautiful melodies that crawl their way into your chest, lodge in there, and then twist.

On another news, beginning December is my graduating party. It's almost like a prom, only not. It's in essence a huge party thrown for us, the graduatees, by us, the graduatees. 600 guests, tickets for sale to anyone who wants them. Free-for-all drinks, and special VIP area for the graduatees.
It's gonna be awesome.

Maybe in the future you get to see pictures of me drunk! I'm sure everyone wants to see that!

Oh, and since I always have some excuse to why I'm blabbering about my life in here, this time it's because my head is in turmoil. A good turmoil, actually. I'm happy. And that's what matters, right? Not all the other feelings that are fighting for some space in my mind right now.
I've got a big chunk of vestibular behind me already but a more important and massive test coming up and I'm not prepared, but hey, I'm liking the music that I'm listening to and soon there'll be my graduating party and now my schedules have loosened up a bit, so I'll be able to go back to capoeira.
Also, there's Marianna [spoiler]her, you know her if you've read my pointless rants before[/spoiler], which a different matter altogether. By the way, she's going to this party. Mixed feelings, anyone?

Glad to hear things are looking up for you. To get into college here in the states, you take a similar test called the SAT (Standford Achievemnt Test). It covers similar subjects as you mentioned... but consists of multiple choice answers, all fill-in-the-bubble style.

I have a friend who did the SAT this year and she said it's an easy and annoying exam.
KA himself once described it to me as... what was it? Ah, "half-assed".

Oh, the album you're talking about is Americana. Song is "Why Don't You Get a Job". By the way, that song's a blatant rip-off of the Beatles' "Ob-ladi, Ob-lada". I think they got sued for that. =P
