I went to the movies expecting to see a movie. I came out knowing that I've seen a legendary piece of cinema. This movie is Pixar's magnum opus, and I've seen every single one of their movies.

This movie is one of the best MOVIES I've ever seen, period. Holy sheet.

Everyone, go and see this movie. NOW.

While you guys were watching that, I was watching Wanted. Which I consider as one of the best movies of 08.

Normally, I hate pixar/dreamnation movies. I have a small bit of hope for this movie. I, however, don't plan to see it until it hits dvd.

Hmm... I don't go to the cinema anymore, and I don't do much with rentals. I need to do something if I want to see it. Maybe I can convince a family outing for this weekend to the theater.

Saw it. Best robot movie I've ever seen, and one of the best from Pixar. The movie is so touching and so subtly eerie at the same time. Plus, there's not a lot of dialogue compared to most movies, so the majority of the movie tells a story through action (and music; you'll see what I mean) rather than words. And they did quite the nice job of it.

Okay, so I watched saw it last night. And I really did like it. Though there is a whole urban side to it, which I will go into in a second. I had to listen to "awww... poor wall-e" in that high pitched voice every like 2 minutes.

Also, SK's worst nightmare is in it... roaches that you can't kill. How many times did that thing get ran over?

Anyway, someone online said that there was allot of fuss about Wall-e depicting obesse people in a bad light. I also like this same guy's counter point. How do you make being over be a good thing? I mean, you can be happy and over weight, and that's great, but it's not really ever a GOOD thing. Besides.... it's logic.
what the hell do you think would happen if for 7 generations (or somewhere around 700 years) of just sitting. You definately aren't going to have a trim look to yourself. And their lack of knowledge is completely understandable as they had never seen (and seeing as the last people who knew Earth probably died in the 3th/4th generation, or heard) about Earth, yeah... they will be a bit uneducated.
So I think those people need to kind of stfu.

Oh, and the other thing. I like how EVE had that Mac look to her. It was almost like a jab at PC. "Look at wall-e... so broken and hand made. But look at THIS. Eve is new, sleek, shiny. SO much better than this little robot." Lol, like really... can you not look at Eve and say she doesn't look like something Steve Jobs might have designed?
