Well, I've been flirting with this one girl I work with that has a couple of kids. I only flirt to keep up the practice. I don't really want a relationship or anything with her. Anyway, I send her a somewhat flirtatious message on myspace and her "husband" responds back to me in a not so nice manner. I put husband in quotations because I hear she was splitting with him. So, I tell him I was just messing around and that it won't happen again. Shouldn't have been my response but it kinda caught me off guard. Kinda reminds me of last year's debacle. However, this time, if he decides to threaten me, I won't back down and I'll give him the facts (with a little lie). I'll just tell him that I didn't know she was married (lie) and her page said she was single, so I didn't think anything of it.

I doubt this situation will escalate, but if it does, I'll diffuse it. It's just funny how this happens. And the deal about the husband, the girl said she was getting a divorce when were getting hired. I thought the process might have been done or something or that it didn't really mean anything at that point. Oh well.

This is why I'm MGTOW.

I wasn't trying to pick her up though, that's the problem. I flirted, unaware of her status. I figured she was single as I never saw her with her "husband." Ever. But if the situation arises, I'll tell him that, making proper eye contact and trying to be the alpha.

He's been clear now that he is the husband. If you ignore that from now on you are looking for trouble.

Well, now that I know, I'm not going to pay her any attention unless she needs something work related. Other than that, there will be nothing else.
