And the Entertainment center I built myself . It's a little crooked, but it holds the 110 lb TV and that's all that matters.

Well while my bedroom does have a similar layout, and a lot of the same furniture, I didn't have a kitchen, living room and dining room before . Well technically I did but they were shared.

But yes it is a one bedroom (890 sq ft), and I live by myself, mainly because I've wanted to for a while now. I'm sure I'll get tired of it eventually but for now I'm enjoying it.

Now I just need to find stuff to put on the walls.

Just out of curiosity, how old are you again?
Because, you know, own apartment + computer like that + entertainment center like that + anything less than 30 years old = helluvaccomplishment.

It's not that hard.

I could do it.

I'm 24, about to be 25 . Obviously I rock , probably not but eh. It's all about finding the right job, and then being good at what you do. Networking also helps as one of my roomates and a person from a couple of my projects from college got me the job.

So while I'm not filthy rich, I'm doing pretty good. I wish I came from a rich family but I earned my keep, and actually help my parents out a bit now, since every now and then they need it.

And both of the computers were under $1000, they're self built so I save quite a bit there. If only I could build Plasma TVs .

I'm happy for you. I don't want to be too critical but here goes.

If it is a city apartment, you need to get rid of about half of your stuff so that you have a eat/sleep/entertain guests place. Then you can spend your time out in the city itself.

It would also help if your entertainment system wasn't so big so you could walk up to the window, look out onto the city that you are about to conquer and then leave the building.

Not for everyone, but just some thoughts. Congrats.
