Chapter 1 - The Marriage

The church bells rang under the blue sky that is shining brightly. The stained glass reflected the light to the beatiful blooming flowers that day. It was perfect. On that day Griselda is about to reach the happiest day of her life, her marriage.

She is in her dressing room accompanied with her mother, Dorothea and her little brother Ben. Her lips are red with lipstick, her makeup made her shine, and her white glimmering wedding dress was about to make her princess for a day, until...

"Eeeeek!!"

A scream echoed through the halls of the church. Everyone was alarmed by it, and wondered about the scream. Some investigated the rooms but found nothing of the scream. Then, a sister of the church ran by saying to everyone that she found a dead body in the basement of the church. Griselda was informed of this dead body along with her mother and brother and they suspect it was her groom, Simon.

"What?! Is this true?"
"Yes, madam. We suspect... it is your groom."
"Are you really positively sure?! Did you even call detectives, police? Anything?!" Said Griselda with anger and sadness all mixed in one.

The sister who informed of the news said that they've called the local detective and the police and will be arriving shortly. And she left. Griselda couldn't hold her tears. She cried and couldn't think clearly at that moment. Her mother Dorothea comforted Griselda and went to check the dead body of Simon while Ben was ordered to stay and watch over Griselda for awhile.

About an half-hour past by and the detectives and police officers arrived starting their investigation. Griselda who finally calmed herself down thought if she could solve the mystery of who murdered her future husband. She told Ben to go and wait with the others at the altar while she head to the basement.

When she arrives she saw some police officers and medics carrying her husband and about to bring him into the hospital. Before they took him out Griselda shouted.

"Wait!"
"Griselda? Why are you here?" Asked Dorothea.
"I'm here to... see my fiance's face one more time before all of you took him away. Please..."

The police officers allowed Griselda to look at her future husband one more time. She then was shocked to see that her husband had some stab wounds on his chest. She couldn't look no more so she turned around. She stayed strong and wiped her tears. She then turned her attention to two detectives who are investigating something on the floor. She then approached the two detectives.

"Excuse me... but, may i help?"
"We apologize miss, but only athourized personel only could investigate this case."
"Please! Let me help, i am the victims soon to be wife! I need to know who murderd him! Please let me!"
"Well... if you put it like that, i guess we could let you. But are you sure? Some of the evidence are quite... disturbing if you might say."
"For the sake of my fiance, i will put aside my fears for now."

After Griselda said that, the two detectives let her help with the investigations from that day. The first clue, was a sandwich lying down on the floor with bite marks, two bite marks to be exact. One seemed to have left a lipstick on.

"I suspect this could be shared with a women. It could be a... poison inside this sandwich."
