Why do people think it's weird when I talk to myself, or to an inanimate object? I'm aware that they are not going to answer anyway! Maybe I should just stop that...

U know what I think is strange.. And I'm sure everyone is going to tell me its not.. But.. I see guys walking by them selves singing and talking to them selves walking on the sidewalk.

There was this one guy just going on and on walking. I was like.. O.o I wonder if he likes the answers he gets.

That happened to me a week ago! Except I was the one talking to myself on the side walk. I think I creeped someone out. I didn't noticed he was behind me until he tried to pass me by without going too close (or at least that's the impression I got when I noticed he left the sidewalk, passed me and then returned to the sidewalk)

Uh... this seems like something that would go in the spam forum. Now that we have one I'm seeing all these topics that look like they could belong there.

Let me clarify, I do to talk to myself, but it's almost whispering to myself. I don't know if that helps me look less crazy or the contrary

Honestly if anything, whispering to yourself makes you sound more weird than crazy...

I talk, sing, whisper to myself all the time..... Usually though it's cause I'm bored and have no-one to currently do those things with.

Yep, likewise. It's not like I talk to myself when I'm with someone!
At least not long conversations. Just one or two random phrase. Ok, I think I'm not helping myself.

I have a running dialogue with myself in my head, but I don't really talk much at all in what I guess is best termed as the social world, or something.

I tend to revert to different languages, though. So I'll speak in english one side of the discussion, in french on the other, latin on another, and if I'm needing a forth viewpoint to be represented I'll take in Old English, but I'm not really any great shakes with that, so that one's typically an illiterate idiot.

Now that I think about it, when I talk to myself, I do it usually in English.
We speak Spanish here.

I wonder about that kind of stuff....I had a friend with English as his second language, and he told me he thinks in Spanish... How odd.
