Most of you know I'm a network admin for a plant... recently we've been having issues with dumbasses installing all kinds of bullsh*t on the computers. And I need to try to find some kind of monitoring software that'll display all installed programs on any given machine on our network.

So far my searches have gone in vein. All the keywords used in said searches have pulled up almost nothing of value.

I just need something that will pull up and populate a list of installed programs without having to litterally tap into the machines from up here and manually going into the add/remove program list.

The price of the software doesn't matter, my budget is rather large... I just need something that'll get the job done.

Dunno if that helps, but at school the admins use a program called MasterEye to monitor the computers. I know it can do a lot of things, but don't know if it can do what you want.

Just pointing it out. Perhaps there's a chance it might be useful...?

Actually I think that software is very interesting. Specially the shut down multiple computers at one time part. But we already have software that monitors web surfing and can lock out keyboards and remote acces, ect.

I've actually luckly ran into a program called Network Inventory Monitor... It'll make a list of a bunch of crap that I won't need like what OS is running, proccessor speeds, ram, ect... but it also includes a list of installed software.

But what caught my eye is that it can export to SQL straight from the program... yay...

I appriciate the help though. ^_^
