I'm just curious to know if anyone out there watches television. I haven't seen anything on the tube(besides videogames) that is remotely interesting to watch for a very long time now. I think that reality shows are poison and a waste of time. Also, don't even get me started on American Idol!

I have not hooked the cable up in my room for years now, not even the animes are worth it......T.V. just.....sucks.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone that watches these reality shows, just be warned, you have been brainwashed.

No but seriously though, I wonder if I'm the only one that doesn't watch T.V......

Don't have TV. Just a TV. Stopped watching it because I kept missing episodes that either ended in a cliffhanger or concluded one, and that just got irritating. The last straw was when I missed taping the time-traveling 5-parter of DuckTales just before they took it off of Toon Disney.

I watch TV with my grandparents, though. Not much, though. Various million-dollar game shows, and Mythbusters. That's about it.

I don't watch TV... I mean, the regular programs. Here are the things I watch:
Movies, when they're good. Plenty of movie-only channels out there.
Friends and Two & a Half Men - the classics, they brighten up your evening.
News - you need to watch it. You don't want to become completely alienated. That, or read the newspaper.
Random Documentaries - are sometimes interesting.

Anything other than that I think it's waste of time. Reality shows, soap operas, and all that jazz.
But usually I don't even get near the TV. Only do it when I'm extremely bored of everything else.

I like to watch sitcom reruns or movies I've already seen when I'm eating or keeping them on in the background.

I like to watch some sports.

I don't like most new shows weather they be reality, drama, or sitcom so I don't really follow any.

There are way to many reality shows on. I don't dislike the idea of reality shows when they give a glimpse of another person's life, but there are so many in which I get nothing out of like when they pretend something small is a big deal.

One show that was great was "Starting Over". That is what I think a good reality show is all about, because you are watching to see people achieve success, and the only sadistical aspect is watching people have to face the truth of their bad habits.

Oh, I like to watch MTV Made when it shows. The program is from the US MTV, of course... I like to see how those extremely weird teenagers have those extremely weird dreams and chase them like hell. I dunno, it's one of my strange habits. Whenever a fat small ugly gal says "I wanna be the prom queen!" I sit back and grab some popcorn.

It's some kind of therapy for who-knows-what.

I've been watching some shows on TV lately, more than usual. Sometimes Discovery Channel is a good watch, and I enjoy watching House. These new game shows (which I'm a fan of) are getting irritating. The golden age of the 90's game show is gone, replaced by annoying cliffhanger and/or stupid people on shows that resemble Deal or No Deal. While the show is OK to watch most of the time, it's started a really bad trend in game shows today.

I gave up on TV long ago... in a way...
I still turn it on, and put some random channel. I admit I just put a random cartoon and heart it at the very least.
But there are some shows I'm interested in watching, like Dead Like Me and... I forgot the other one :\

I'm looking forward to Chuck and also to Back to You. BtY debuted today but I was at work so I will catch it tomorrow on my DVR. Other than that I just watch me alot of Star Trek DS9, Shin Chan, Venture Brothers, Harvey Birdman, and Avatar. And I'm always down for some M*A*S*H* and fraiser reruns.

I can't wait for the new season of South Park. I'm sure it will be better than last season.

New season of Deal or No Deal started. After two seasons of no million-dollar winners, they're now going to cheat. Each game that nobody wins the million, they're going to add another million-dollar case. They're also giving away a mil in the lucky case game in their premier episode.

The first time I ever saw an episode of South Park, I almost wet myself with laughter!! I did not see that vocabulary coming! :lol

This is probably one of the only reasons I would connect my cable again.

But then again......

I have not watched any broadcast TV for almost 2 years.

I do watch old movies and DVD's on occasion, but the wasteland of broadcast television is not for me.
