I stood before the steel, cold, and battery powered machine. The other scientists quickly rushed around the control room to make sure everything was in order and in perfect shape. The cables and wires were plugged in correctly on the back. I looked at the status of the machine on a computer monite. Everything was ready to go. I was about to create an Android. A machine that would primarily be used for recon and warfare for the military. All the other scientists stood in order awaiting my speech.

"My friends, a new era is upon us. With this new machine we will be able to stop the tragic casualties in war. Human life used to be a sacrifice we had to make for our freedom. But now, this Android will do what we humans can ever achive. An Android who is immortal, strong, fearless, and brave. I present, X5-Robo Maximus!"

My speech was short but i didn't mind. I flipped the switch causing the machine to slowly open its doors. The Android inside came out, looking around and analyzing it's surroundings. Everyone else was suprised to see a functional android walk on its own. They started to clap and cheer in a delightful and cheery manner.

"Good after noon." The Android greeted. "I am ready for combat and to serve your kind."

"Well we just want to ask you one thing X5." I told the Android.

"Yes?" he replied.

Everyone started to unbutton their science coats slowly.

"Can...you love?" I asked it in a soft voice.

"DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He yelled.

We all got closer while the Android backed up slowly.

"X5, your mission is to get busy with us." I told him.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" It yelled while some of the other scientists grabbed on to him

To answer the question posed by the topic's title, I'd have to say it depends on weither or not the robots in question have all the proper "attachments."

But back on topic, I still shudder at story. I mean, what? Do you sit there and try to think of slightly grotesque scenarios just to get a rise out of us? If so, you need a new hobbie...

True, but I was infering things from the context of the question. And given the implications of his story, I belive you can understand why I assumed that my observations to this effect were not totaly unbased.

Despite the backlash the last few of your stories have gotten from some of the guys, i don't really mind them, or your posting them. Creativity wasn't really intended to be a hunting ground for cheap laughs, though.

Can you keep your future stories in just one topic, please? You're producing a couple a week sometimes. If Altoecko can keep his poems in one topic, you can do the same with your fiction. Go ahead and post onto the end of the thread so it gets bumped to the top. w/e. Just stop filling C+++ with 50-word comedy threads.

If you enjoy writing them, f*ck the critics and keep writing them.

hey, Even I didn't get to keep MY sticky on the Magpies thread.

ok, Duelpro... Here's how i'm gonna work this one.

Alto just got a sticky, because he's posting real art and has been for an awfully long time. I'm giving Staffy one, mostly because you can't deny the man while he's drawing Magpies. or claiming to be about to start drawing.

Duelpro, i want you to earn your sticky. In the following way;

i want you to write up something for the 'Magonian Pride' themed RPGMMag 5th Anniversary contest. It doesn't have to be long, but it DOES have to be something worth reading this time, not just you 'messing around'. As such, themes such as robot rape, excessively fat people and spontaneous freakish murders will be frowned upon. =P

It's gotta be something to do with the Mag and what Magonian Pride IS, something everyone (or most people... pleasing everyone is nearly impossible, obv) will want to read, something that displays thought, if not intelligence. Most importantly, it has to be something people LIKE.

I want you to write something that justifies me putting you on the top of my forum, cause right now, all of your work has been promising but... halfassed.

i'm fairly convinced that you're not that stupid and that you're fully capable of this. I'll happily give you a sticky, if you earn it. Besides, i think this might be fun. I want to see if you're any good at writing when you make the effort.
