I spent a while last night messing around on MS Paint. This is what i came up with. I know its not PS standard, but, hell, its not PS.

Go ahead with the criticism, but bear in mind that since i'm never touching paint again, its kinda irrelevant to suggest corrections

and MS Paint is absolutely awful. Try painting with a 2x4 and you'll get a vaue idea of what i mean

but it does blend all togetehr well.

as you can see he used ps to watermark it and he said something about using a render or something but i don't really remember and it looks the same either way so oh well.

As for myself, all I have is MS Paint. So, if I'm making sprites, no problem, just make it pixel by pixel. Anything more complex than that, I draw outlines on paper, scan it, trace the lines on paint, change between B&W and color (that gets rid of the 1000 or so variants of kinda white and kinda black and leaves just the trace), then use the filler to put in color.

Or I draw it using color pencils, scan it, and leave it at that. Unforutnately the scanner I use doesn't recreate the colors too well. I once created a racoon knight with a sunset background; the color of the sunset was way off and I couldn't make it look right no matter what I tried.

thats because i messed something up... in order to pass some music onto a mate, i deleted a load of files i actually needed... duh.

ive been trying to sort it out, but i uploaded it and... it inverted the colours.
