I shall beat myself 'til the day I die,
because the price of pie is just too high.
Before I thought, it was always good,
for that thought, I should be beaten with wood.
Long in the days of good bakers,
pie was without catches and good for all takers.
But the machine is taken hold,
and the pie, now offered with many chips, is spoiled and old.

Many have continued to pay,
so did I, for a while, to my now knowledged dismay.
"But isn't this the pie you want?", the new bakers flaunt.
"No, and that's why I refuse to give patronage", I taunt.
"Then we'll call you bad names and make you eat!
On top of that, we'll make fun of the size of your feet!"

"Call me anything you wish,
but I remain uninterested in your dish.
If I never eat pie again, I'll consider it fair
But I will never again buy my wares from there.
I will go where my money and thoughts are respected,
because the only option here is to spend and STILL be detested.

So Merry Christmas to you, I hope all is well
on second thought, I lied.
Why is it I should hide?
I hope you burn in hell."
