Here's a exchange I had while on the "White People" video that MTV is doing:

Indian Scammer: Hello, my name is [blah blah], and I'm calling because our network has detected a problem with your computer.

Me: There isn't a problem with my computer.

Indian Scammer: Sir, we are showing that you have several viruses on your computer. I will guide you through the steps to fix that.

Me: I'm sitting right in front of my computer right now, and there aren't any problems.

Indian Scammer: Oh, you are not aware of the problem. That is common. [resumes reading off his script]

(A few more minutes of him trying to talk me into visiting a certain website that will "fix" the "problem"...)

Me: Dude, I've been using the computer all day, and there are no problems.

Indian Scammer: Yes, you are unaware of the problem [blah blah blah]...

Me: I think you've got a problem. You're trying to scam me.

Indian Scammer: What, mother****er? Who told you that? (click)

I'd like to imagine that he and his crew immediately and frantically packed up and vacated their premises of operations because I kept him on the phone long enough for a potential trace of the call (by the FBI, whatever). I have a vivid imagination. Regardless, his final words before hanging up did sound rather freaked and panicky. And yes, he did call me an MFer. True story. LOL

Total Pwnage!

A couple months ago we got the same kind of call. Instead of leading him on, I just said, "Okay, here's what's gonna happen. You're gonna direct me to a website that supposedly detects viruses and stuff. That website will download real viruses and stuff onto my computer. Then you're gonna sell me the 'cure' for that, which is probably regular anti-virus software. Am I right?" He hung up.

"It's the Indians and their barbaric ways! Yogurt running down their faces and boobs flapping around! You ever hear of a bra? I've seen one!" ~ Master Shake

Rekt. What an asshole.

My mother's been getting a lot of those Indian Scammer calls lately. I told her to simply say, "Please tell me more while I verify the authenticity of this call from Microsoft and the FBI. If you could stay on long enough for the trace to complete, that will be just fine."
