Your senses were ablaze,
every synapses firing at full force to try in vain to make sense of this totally mystical feeling.
You were deaf and blind. You couldn’t smell or feel anything but the intense notion that had hi-jacked your physicality….a notion so close to pain you could sense the impending daggers lurking nefariously above your fragile heart, but so euphoric your heart was ensnared by the affinitous draw enclosed in the folds of amour's soft robes...
It was unbearably unbelievable that in this one second you were in a place between two worlds. You were totally at the mercy of your mind corrupted with jubilation, impossible to discern your fate. Impossible to think of anything but this one second. This one second shocking you like lightning, and leaving you begging for more.
Cold
It swallowed up that moment, assaulted you. Broke into your already besieged mind, it obliterated the ephemeral and left you gasping for air in a world so prolifically horrible you were no longer at the mercy of your mind. No, your stasis was now in the hands of something utterly unutterable. Something so far beyond comprehension that despite the fact that you planned this you wished for something else. Anything else.
You were falling. Falling slowly, impossibly slow. ou couldn't even breathe. The world was a blur as you broke free and opened your eyes, casting off your captor and hoping to regain reality. To KNOW once again. Your eyes caught nothing though, just stung with the terrible cold; only relented against your pleas, ignoring your moans for the truth. They Could Not Tell You Where You Were.
There was a caress at the back of your mind. A light cognitive brush against your psyche…a flicker of reality had been regained. You knew what was happening….you screamed. Screamed so loud the sonic wrenching of your crux was twisted to your confounded mind. Screamed so ardently you could not hear the words that blurred to your ears. But you knew what you begged for. You knew that your cries were centrifugal to Life.
Then a hum entered you conscience. A faint buzz stilled your mournful cries.
You concentrated on the rhythmic tenor phasing in and out….almost like a voice reaching out to you. Almost like the deep bass of the Lord. Almost like God was calling you with the forces of nature, booming like thunder through your mind, striking your ears with the rabid fury of a man smitten with the amour of bellicose.
It was right above you….pulling you to the heavens you had sought when you took those steps. Your hostel was to shield you from the times of constricting fear…..And then the world wasn’t so dark, the hum of your Lord God was pulling you to peace…pulling you to a place marked with respite….pulling you away from the life you could now remember hating.
And then the light broke about you like the fires of a thousand scalding suns….the light so fierce it burnt you….the Light drew your eyes shut and your heart beating….once again you were feebly screaming.
And then a voice…â€
