There's few things that annoy me more than when people think female guitarists are so great just because they're... female. Go to youtube and often times you'll hear something standard that many other guitarists already do, or just a bunch of scales and chromatic runs here and there to sound "interesting". They can play better than me in some aspects, sure, but I get tired of the fawning done by stupid internet boys that praise a girl guitarists abilities like they're great when they come standard. And it's worse when a girl shreds. Unless she knows to phrase right, it sounds like the same boring crap.

I just got my official departure date/time for Belgium - August 6th in the morning, and I'll get there on August 7th around 815 am!

In worse news, I got my wisdom teeth out like 7 hours ago, but it's still bleeding so it's kind of a b*tch to eat. SO HUNGRY. Aaand I think I just blew out the clots and got dry sockets because my body decided this would be a great time to throw up. f*ck wisdom teeth.

I was one of the unfortunate ones to have all four pulled at once. Roots and all.

So... much... blood.

I had all four of mine pulled a week after I graduated high school. I got drugged up (needed 3 pills) and only woke up a couple of times throughout the process. A miserable few days.

Lantis, that sounds like it was terrible! I got all four removed, but they were all impacted still, so there weren't any roots yet. I guess I lucked out there.

Syn, that does seem miserable. When you woke up, do you mean like during the removal, or in the few days after?

I woke up once during removal and once when I got home. It was only brief, so I didn't feel anything or know what was going on. All I could remember was them telling me to breathe.

I was put under by an I.V. so I wouldn't have to deal with any discomfort. That and mine were messed up. My wife recently had hers pulled and she just had the gas. Guess it is person by person and also the amount of discomfort the dentist believes will be experienced based on the patient's situation.

...You guys are lucky.
