I read a comment about some dude being happy about some guitarist playing every solo note for note, and that all fans want that at a concert. I honestly think that's a bit dumb. While it would be nice for a guitarist to hit every note perfectly and note for note, I also believe a live concert should not just be the album played to it's entirety in front of people. A concert is supposed to be a show, something different from the album. A little improvising here and there, some f*ck ups... that's part of a live show a lot of times, and it makes it worth paying the money to see a concert. If I wanted to listen to the exact copy of the album, I'd just sit at home with my speakers up and blast the album. A concert needs to be different and fun.
