Well seeing as they still crunch, I suppose they are alright. The expiration date on some things are more of a suggestion for "best taste".

I know this is normal for you Southerners, but I f*cking hate the weather up here. 90 degrees out and an 85% humidity all day. And the air conditioner only works in one room at the cabin. I feel so sticky and gross. I can't see how you guys can deal with it. I'll take a -20 windchill to this humidity and heat.

Well, it's more the southeast than anything. And when you live with it long enough (14 years for me), you get used to it. I used to live in dry Texas land when I was kid, but I got used to the humidity. It's nothing for me.
